Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo International Airport where someone from the tour company greets you. After handling airport procedures and getting your private transfer sorted, head to your hotel to settle in. Depending on when you land, you can either check out the neighborhood or just rest up before things get going tomorrow.

From there, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum to see King Tutankhamun's treasures and other artifacts. You'll get a lunch break if you want it, then return to your hotel for the evening, which is yours to spend however you'd like.

Cairo to Hurghada
After breakfast and checking out, your private transfer takes you through the desert landscape toward Hurghada on the Red Sea coast (roughly 5 hours/280 miles). Once you arrive and get settled at your seaside hotel, the afternoon is open for walking along the beach, swimming, or lounging by the pool. Later, take a walk along the marina or grab dinner by the water if you're feeling it.

When evening comes, wander the marina, try some local seafood, or find a seaside café for coffee.
