Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Chitwan
You'll arrive at the Chitwan tourist bus station and get transferred to your resort. After you settle in and have lunch, there's time to walk through a nearby Tharu village to see how locals live and visit the National Park Visitor Centre. By evening, you'll head to the Rapti River to catch the sunset. Dinner comes after a Tharu Cultural Dance presentation where you can actually participate and get involved with the performance.

Chitwan Wildlife Experience
This starts early with breakfast, then you're out on the Rapti River by canoe looking for birds and watching for rare crocodiles like Marsh Muggers and Gharials. After returning, you'll have a chance to see elephants bathing in the water. Following lunch, a jeep safari takes you through the park where you might spot deer, rhinos, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, or if you're lucky, a Royal Bengal Tiger. The evening includes either another Tharu Cultural Dance show or a slideshow, and then dinner.

Departure from Chitwan
An early wake-up call gets the day started, followed by a visit to the Government Elephant Breeding Centre. After breakfast, you'll depart for your next destination.
