- DSDivya· September 20th, 20241.Papa Freddy: our tour guide for 3 days for perfect. His English was good and he showed the best places. Was punctual and arranged meals at decent restaurants. 2.I took off two stars from the remaining journey: a) Puno: Guide was Manuel. Poorly managed. Why did we waste a whole day at lake Titicaca? We could have done so much more! Maybe visited Silustani or a made a half day trip to Tihuanaco. How many floating islands does one need to see? You see one and you've seen them all. Why did we watch wool washing with Chujo a 2nd time in Taquile? We should not have spent more than 1.5 hours on Titicaca. I was going up on the upper level on the boat and Manuel said: "you can't go up". I thought he meant it was unsafe of something. Actually, he just wanted to lecture everyone on useless local stories. b) 99% of the passengers were Spanish speakers. That is half the time wasted in repetition. Next time, I would take an English-only tour. c) How many wool shops does one need to visit? d) Except the time with Papa Freddy, every day, I was with a different group of people. I think Inkayni is not a tour operator, but a tour middle man. They are agents that sub-contract the work to others. I would prefer to have the same reliable faces every day, instead of a new tour guide and new travelers every day. e) City Tour (optional): We hardly spent 10-20 minutes at Saqsayhuaman. half of which was self exploration. Why pay in USD to waste time visiting 5 useless places in Cusco and no time at the most important place in Cusco? I would have been better off going to Saqsayhuman myself and hiring a local guide on the spot. f) Every day (except days with Freddy) a new driver showed up at the lobby to pick me up. The travellers weren't even all staying at the same hotels. They didn't say they would communicate plan changes opn email. I had no email access in Peru. After I left Peru, I checked my email, to find revisions having been emailed. g) I asked thrice, but no itinerary was communicated about Puno, even one day and not even the morning of the full day useless Puno visit.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
Richard· August 2nd, 2024Get used to getting up very early most days but it's more than worth it. The Peru tour company Inkyani Tours did all the work and were exceptional....the customer service was beyond normality; not only did they anticipate every customer need but exceeded them .... for example, proactively dealing with our itinerary when we had an unexpected family bereavement. Everyone who looked after us were not after tips; they just wanted to please. On the other hand, we were taken to perhaps a few too many money making activities where we were encouraged to buy things. Tour Radar has been quick to promote further tours now ours is over but hasn't offered any customer loyalty price, which is surprising. The bottom line is that if you want to pay a lot more than organising the tour yourself and having no stress, then this is for you. If you are worried about money, you can organise most of the activities, transport and hotels much cheaper than paying Tor Radar, but you might well miss out on hard to buy entry tickets and activities that aren't well known. Overall, I am very impressed. Well done Inkyani Tours of Lima, Peru. Tour Radar, please consider rewarding your loyal customer base when promoting new tours to them. Thanks very much everyone. PS the communications have been excellent.Show moreTrip date: July 2024- BSBarbara· July 9th, 2024I absolutely loved the first part of the tour! Percy was an amazing guide with so much knowledge and depth to the places we visited. I understood that some of the tour would be a large group but didn’t realize it would bilingual. The bilingual guides would constantly change from Spanish to English. I didn’t enjoy any of the last few days in the large group bilingual portion of the tour.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
Petrus· July 1st, 2024We enjoyed our time, however, we have to highlight that care must be of paramount for the tourists in a foreign country. At time we were left unattended. This was dangerous. Also proper communication must always be applied. We've sometimes had no knowledge of what is going to happen next.Show moreTrip date: June 2024

- VFvictor· April 27th, 2024Inkayni tours is a fantastic company. Unfortunately, my wife became ill and the tour company went above and beyond to help us at every turn. Ernesto our guide was great, We were able to see Machu Picchu and a few other sites. Percy, the tour company liaison kept in touch with us every day to check pon my wife. They did everything to help us. I would STRONGLY recommend this company to anyone who has any interest in seeing Peru. The company is more interested in its clients than the bottom line. We had to cut short our trip and come back to the states early and INKAYNI was greatShow moreTrip date: April 2024

Traveler•Written August 2025Are we supposed to fly into Cusco and out of Lima? Having trouble finding flights into Cusco from the US. Can find roundtrip to Lima with domestic flight to Cusco. How much is the trip for six of us? Is July a good time to visit?
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written August 2025Currently the only international airport is in Lima. You must land in Lima first and then take a domestic flight into Cusco. We work with small tours in Cusco but for Puno and route of the sun, we gather an average of 40 people using big buses and boats. July is one of the best months to travel due to the sunny weather but cold nights.

Asked on August 2nd, 2025I would like to tour Peru with my granddaughter for about a week in November 2025. I have to travel from the UK but she will already be in Peru. Is there anything you can offer?
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written August 2025Yes, we can offer you a package for you and your granddaughter. Do you have exact dates? Where will you be in Peru? Do you have an idea what places you want to visit during your trip? I am assuming Machu Picchu is one destination.

Asked on July 30th, 2025Is it possible to do a 2-day tour to Machu Picchu for someone with partial disability who uses a wheelchair?
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written July 2025We can provide a wheelchair for the 2 days of the tour. However, the time is tight to visit Machu Picchu from Lima. If they could add one extra day, it would be much better and more realistic.

Asked on July 10th, 2025I'm interested in your Southern Treasures tour, looking at June 2026. I've done a similar tour twice before, and love the itinerary. My question is would it be possible for me to purchase tickets for the Titicaca train for my group, instead of taking the bus trip? We took the train last time, and it was a highlight for me!
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written July 2025Yes, we can book your train tickets to Puno instead than taking the bus. However, I need to ask my team about the next year availability and so on before give you the price and confirmation. Consider that the train has ficed departures in the week and we also need to confirm the exact departure date for you.

Asked on May 12th, 2025How far in advanced to book the tour? Looks like the transportation piece we would need to do is our flight to Cusco and from Puno at the end. Correct? All the admission tickets and lodging would be included as well.
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written May 2025We recommend passengers to book with at least 4 months in advance to guarantee Machu Picchu circuit 2. Permits for Machu Picchu are limited, personal, untransferable, and non-refundable.

Traveler•Written May 2025Would there be a laundry service or place to do laundry at some point? Is a credit card taken in most places? Best to exchange before leaving the US or an exchange place in Cusco? Typical October weather?
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written May 2025Laundry services available around the area and they prefer cash. Credit cards can be used in restaurants, supermarkets, some medium-size businesses. Exchange dollars from US in exchange houses here. October is very windy during the afternoon but lacks rain.

Traveler•Written May 2025Luggage recommendations? What size is required not to exceed? My husband and I travel just with backpacks.
Inkayni Peru ToursOperator•Written May 2025A backpack is always the best option. They can bring a 23 kg suitcase with a day backpack they will carry during the tours. They can store luggage at the hotel or in our office.
