Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport and head to your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City. From there, get around the city by cyclo, those traditional pedicabs that give you a real feel for the streets. The War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the General Post Office are all on the route, so you'll see how different each one is architecturally. Stop for a bowl of pho at a local spot before heading back to rest up.

Mekong Delta Full Day Tour
Start early at 7:30am for the full day Mekong Delta tour. The bus takes you to My Tho first, where you'll check out Vinh Trang Pagoda, then it's onto a boat for the real experience, cruising through coconut canals toward Ben Tre Island. At a local family's place, try tropical fruit and honey tea while listening to traditional music. You'll also see how they make coconut candy the old way. The return to Ho Chi Mihn City happens by 5:00pm.

Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour
Half day trip out to the Cu Chi Tunnels, about 60km outside the city. The tunnel system stretches over 220km and was used during the Vietnam War, so walking through gives real historical perspective. You'll see rural rice paddies and have the chance to fire an AK-47 if that interests you. Back in Ho Chi Minh City by 3:00pm, leaving the rest of the afternoon and evening free to do whatever you want.
