- MLMariana· August 29th, 2025The tour was amazing. There is quite a bit of bus time but it makes very frequent stops at different locations/sceneries so it does not feel like you are on the bus all the time. Our tour guide Ben was amazing! He had great stories, explained history and was always down to be the group’s photographer! The guest houses were clean and the breakfast was very filling. 100% recommend.Show moreTrip date: July 2025

- SMStewart· May 20th, 2024Our Ultimate Skye Experience was fantastic. Our driver/guide, Neal, was outstanding at both jobs. We loved his passion for his home country and his eagerness to share his wealth of knowledge about the history of Scotland. Though we were on a schedule; we were often allowed input on where we would enjoy spending more or less of our time. He had great recommendations on local restaurants and nightlife. Our accommodations in Inverness, The Gluenuig House, were wonderful. Roz was a delightful hostess, and her home was beautifully furnished and spotless. The morning breakfasts provided plenty of satisfying options for everyone. We would highly recommend this tour.Show moreHighland Experience Tours commented on this reviewHi Stewart, Thank you so much for your very kind 5* review. Asked on July 29th, 2025Im looking at this tour package Ultinate Skye Experience for 3days £340/person. I would like to ask if the round trip train ticket is already included in the package since I'll be coming from london.
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written July 2025
Our tours depart from Edinburgh/Glasgow and return to Edinburgh/Glasgow and do not include advance travel to these cities. You agent may be able to assist with this separately.

Asked on July 21st, 2025Is there an opportunity to do the Hogwarts train?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written July 2025
This tour does not include a ride on the Jacobite Steam Train. However, we do offer a 4-Day Skye & The Jacobite Train Tour that would include a 1-way ride on the famous Hogwarts Express! This tour also stays two nights on the mystical Isle of Skye.

Asked on June 14th, 2025We are looking to see as much as we can in 7 or 8 days. Maybe you can come up with some suggestions on how best to use this time and maybe stack 2 tours back to back.
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written June 2025
If you are looking for a multiple day tour the 3 day Skye is the perfect opportunity to explore and travel like a local in one of Scotland's most scenic locations: the Isle of Skye. Leaving from Edinburgh you see the sites of Culloden, Loch Ness, Eilean Donan, The Cuillins Hills, Trotternish Peninsula and Glen Coe. For day tours that you could do back to back our most popular tours are Loch Ness, Glen Coe & the Highlands that run daily, Rosslyn Chapel, Stirling Castle & Dunfermline Abbey that runs multiple times a week and so does the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Loch Ness & The Great Glen tour.

Asked on April 9th, 2025I have a mother and son planning travel to London and Scotland in June, July, or August of this year. They would like to try to experience a football match in London, the Highland games (if possible) and the quintessential Scotland places to visit, and golf at St. Andrews. They would like to keep the entire trip around 7-8 days. I was thinking I might be able to book a couple of your itineraries back to back, can you help me put this together? They would like separate rooms and are open to apart-hotel/private home stays as well. They are working on a budget, above hostel but not luxury.
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written April 2025
If your clients are looking to travel on a budget, a private tour might not be the best fit, as those tend to be a bit more premium in price. However, we do have a range of scheduled multi-day and 1-day tours that could work really well for them, offering great value while still covering many of Scotland's must-see locations. While our scheduled tours don't include visits to the Highland Games, there are plenty of events taking place throughout the summer within easy reach of Edinburgh—Pitlochry and Stirling are two great options to look into, depending on their dates. I'd be happy to suggest some tour combinations that could work for a 7–8 day itinerary. Let me know if they have any confirmed travel dates yet, and I can tailor the suggestions a bit more specifically.

Asked on January 6th, 2025Would like to know if the bus has a bathroom. If not, how often are rest stops made? Additionally, inquired about the cost for the Loch Ness Boat Cruise and Urquhart Castle.
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written January 2025
Bus does not have toilets on board, makes regular comfort stops approximately every 1 to 2 hours. On day 3 of the tour, option to take Loch Ness cruise and visit Urquhart Castle. Combined ticket costs £28 (subject to change), payable in cash only to driver on tour day.

Asked on September 19th, 2024I'm quite flexible to start sometime from Oct. 13 - Oct. 17 and would like to know whether the departure of the tour is guaranteed? And if not, what days are usually always taking part?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written September 2024
These tours do usually depart, however, we do reserve the right to cancel the tour in the case of low passenger numbers or events outside our control such as adverse weather. It is most likely that our 3-day Ultimate Skye Experience will be going ahead on the dates from Oct 13-17. I would recommend booking for October 14 as we have already met the minimum passenger number for this tour, and therefore it will almost certainly be going ahead.
