Itinerary
- Day 1CairoYour guide meets you at Cairo Airport with a nameplate and drives you to your hotel. Check-in happens after 1:00 PM, with your guide helping you through the process. The afternoon and evening are free to settle in and rest at the hotel. 
- Day 2CairoAfter breakfast, you'll meet your Egyptologist guide in the lobby and head by air-conditioned van to the Egyptian Museum to see 165,000 artifacts spread across the galleries. Lunch is by the River Nile, then you'll drive to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. The afternoon gives you time to walk around the site, stop at a perfume factory and traditional papyrus institute, and browse shops before heading back to the hotel. - Meals

- Day 3Cairo to LuxorYou'll check out early and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Once you arrive, your guide picks you up to explore the West Bank, which was the ancient city of the dead. The morning includes the Valley of Kings with its 63 registered tombs and the Hatshepsut Temple built directly into the cliff face, plus the Memnon statues. After crossing the Nile, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant on the East Bank, then visit the massive Karnak Temple complex before checking into your Luxor hotel. - Meals

- Day 4Luxor to CairoAn early pickup from your Luxor hotel gets you to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Your guide meets you for a walking tour through Old Islamic and Coptic Cairo, exploring ancient monuments along the oldest streets. You'll see the Hanging Church above the Babylon Fortress, walk through the Citadel of Saladin fortification, grab lunch, and browse the historic Khan El Khalili Street market. From there, it's back to your Cairo hotel. - Meals

- Day 5AlexandriaYour guide picks you up from the hotel in an air-conditioned van for the drive to Alexandria. You'll see Pompey's Pillar, a 25-meter red Aswan granite column that's the last remaining piece of the Seraphim Temple built for Emperor Diocletian. The tour includes the Qayetbay Citadel at the harbor entrance and the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels carved into rock. Your guide shares stories about ancient Roman emperors before you return to the hotel. - Meals
