Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
A representative meets you at Cairo Airport to handle the arrival paperwork and get you settled. From there, it's a private air-conditioned ride to your hotel where you'll spend your first night.

Cairo
After breakfast, you'll head out to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. The afternoon takes you through the Grand Egyptian Museum to see King Tutankhamun's treasures, then you'll walk through the busy Khan El-Khalili Bazaar before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Cairo to Luxor
Following breakfast, you transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Once you arrive, it's straight to your Nile cruise with boarding by noon. The afternoon covers Luxor's East Bank where you'll see the massive Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. Back on the ship, there's an Egyptian folkloric show after dinner before you settle in for the night.

Luxor
Breakfast is served on board before you explore Luxor's West Bank. The morning focuses on the Valley of the Kings royal necropolis, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch on the ship, the afternoon is free to relax, then dinner and an overnight stay follow.

Luxor to Aswan
You'll have breakfast on the ship and then travel to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Following lunch on board, the ship continues toward Kom Ombo where you'll explore the Temple of Kom Ombo in the afternoon. As evening approaches, you cruise toward Aswan, arriving late.

Aswan
After breakfast on board, an Egyptologist guide takes you around Aswan. You'll see the High Dam from 1960, take a motorboat out to Agilika Island for the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis, and check out the Unfinished Obelisk carved from red granite. Back on the ship you'll have lunch and afternoon tea, then the evening is yours before dinner.

Aswan
Following breakfast, you check out and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. If you prefer, there's an optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temples about 180 miles south instead, where you'll see the Great Temple dedicated to the god Rahorakhty and the smaller temple honoring King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari before returning to Aswan.

Cairo Departure
After breakfast at your hotel, a representative picks you up in an air-conditioned vehicle and takes you to the airport. They'll help with your luggage and guide you through security for your international flight home.
