- Riaz· August 14th, 2023My family (wife and 3 children ages 14, 10, 9) and I had an absolutely wonderful trek to the top of Toubkal. Communication from View Morocco before and during the trip was excellent. Transfer from Marrakesh was slick and we were picked up in a nice air conditioned 7 seater. Our accommodation in Imlil was comfortable, clean and friendly serving traditional Moroccan breakfast. Big thanks to our guide Rashid who was excellent. He was patient and set the pace just right - at no point did we feel hurried or under pressure to go faster. The trek is tough especially in the energy sapping heat of Aug. Rashid was great with the kids and my 9 year old son seemed to really take to him. I'd absolutely do this again and might consider one of the extended treks encompassing more peaks next time. Big thanks to the View Morocco team for looking after us :)Show moreTrip date: August 2023
- TTony· May 28th, 2023View Morocco arranged a trek for my wife and myself for thre days to the summit of Mt Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains. We wanted a private trek for the two of us, and private rooms are n the refuges along the way. This was all arranged perfectly by VM. We were picked up at the arranged place on time and driven in a nice vehicle to Imlil to meet our guides and stow our luggage. Our guide Ibrahim was amazing, a true Berber man with a lovely friendly personality, and always eager to please us and have some laughs. He taught us lots about the mountains and life there. Our muleteer/cook, Hussein, was brilliant. He would go ahead and prepare the most amazing meals ready for our arrival at meeting points and refuges. The food was very varied, excellent quality and plentiful....in fact the amount was overwhelming. Our trip was great, the accommodation was very good and exciting. We both made the summit, thanks to the help and patience of Ibrahim, even though I was suffering from altitude sickness. I refused to give up and we got there after a very long and slow hike. I would definitely recommend the three day hike, as it gives a much better itinerary. Thanks to all at View Morocco for giving us some lasting memories of a great achievement.Show moreTrip date: May 2023

Asked on October 30th, 2023Is this tour private or group that different parties can book? I'm looking to travel on my own and so would prefer to book onto a trek with other people to do a Toubkal Mountain Trek. So it would be great to know if people have already booked onto this trek on or around the 2nd of November.
