- CGCarmelo· May 28th, 2024The tour covered all the highlights very well. The additional tour guides new their subject well. We enjoyed most of the dinners especially those outside the hotels. One hotel dinner was not received well I think it was Ragusa old soft apples served. I was ashamed to say that my ancestors were from Sicilian. Lunch under the trees in Modica was enjoyable and also lunch in Marsla. Angelo our tour guide was excellent and very helpful and professional. Overall I would recommend the tour. You can improve by apply more attention to the meals served in the hotels. Regards Carmelo.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
- TMTiara· September 2nd, 2023The tour was okay. I wish the guide was a little more caring and personable. The entrance fees for some of the palaces was a little too much.Show moreTrip date: August 2023
- Chris· May 19th, 2023The accommodation was excellent, the meals were great, the tour guide and driver did their jobs well. At times we were standing for too long listening to guides. Need to consider the age demographic and look at finding more seating on the walking tours. Some of the towns we visited were for free time and there was really nothing to see or do- wasted hours. Please consider the locations and the number of stairs as this impacted our enjoyment. The tour stated suitable for children through to 90- a little misleading. Overall we enjoyed the tour, just a few glitches that could be addressed. 😊Show moreSoleto Travel commented on this reviewDear Chris, Many thanks for your positive reviews, I am really glad to know you enjoyed our Tour. - MHMirna· July 18th, 2022It can be improved . The tour guide and driver were good . Food really bad except two meals . One night we drove to a hotel on the beach but for nothing . Did not see the beach as it was late and could not swim the next day as it opened after we left . Also should add more free time to relax or go to the beach was exhausting . Thank youShow moreSoleto Travel commented on this reviewHi Mirna, Many thanks for your review . I am really happy to know you enjoyed our tour. Thanks again Best regards, OmarTrip date: July 2022
- MTMarilyn· August 12th, 2019We enjoyed the tour, 5 days was just enough to get a taste of Sicily. We expected an English speaking tour which this was, however, the tour guide spoke in 3 different languages. Because of this, I felt like I missed too much since I would tune the guide out when he was speaking in the other languages, then lost interest while waiting for the guide to go back to English.Show moreSoleto Travel commented on this reviewDear Marilyn, Many thanks for your review. It is very important for us. We take into account every comment and from this year we run the tour separately for the 3 languages. Thanks Best Regards, OmarTrip date: July 2019
- CPCristina· August 27th, 2018The tour as a whole was really good, we saw many places and met some great people. Our guide, Alice, was lovely and I found her extremely knowledgeable about the history of all the places we visited. The tour group were a mix of languages with the majority being english speaking. I did find on the bus that as the days went on the english speaking members were included less and less with the other guide for italian/spanish doing most of the talking. I think this caused us to miss alot of information, especially at Mt Etna where the italian/spanish portion of the group were spoken to almost continuously for the 30 minute drive both up and then back down the mountain (60 minutes total) while the english speaking portion of the group received less than 10 minutes total. So in that way I found it leaned more towards a small portion of the tour group instead of information being evenly given to everyone.Show moreSoleto Travel commented on this reviewHi Cristina, Many thanks for your review, I am glad that overall you enjoyed the tour . From 2024 we are keeping the groups separate in order to avoid the mixed up with the English and It-Sp speaking part of the group. Thanks, Best regards, OmarTrip date: August 2018
- Veronica· May 27th, 2018We really enjoyed !!! Thank you !!!Trip date: May 2018
- Euan· October 29th, 2017The content was good; the number of people in the group was too large; the guide Placido coped with this very well in 3 languages, but the requirement for him to give every explanation 3 times meant delays in the urban tours; it would have been helpful for each client to be issued with a basic tourist map of Sicily, especially on the last day when we crossed right across the island; the hotel in Catania was OK with comfortable room, but with very poor shower water pressure; the hotel in Palermo was also OK, although we found their bar prices exorbitant (4.5 euros for tap water!!) and the dinner menu with no choice rather poor.Show moreTrip date: October 2017

Asked on September 27th, 2024Do you have a week tour of Sicily starting 24 or 25 March, 2025 for 2 ladies. Then, we want a private tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Amalfi for 5 days. We have been to Pompeii several times and wish to see the new areas and not the common tour.
- Soleto TravelOperator•Written September 2024
Yes, we do have a group tour from Catania to Catania starting on the 22 MArch and a 10 days tour of Sicily from Palermo to Palermo, starting on the 25th.
