What people love about touring England And Scotland solo
- Real Britain (London Overnights)
Overall the tour was good. On the road the driver was great. The Guide Mr Alex was awesome. Cleaning in Hotel Novotel in York was not good. The towel was very much messy & dustbin was broken (took the pictures) On arrival at Hilton hotel London our key was not ready and we had to wait for 30 minutes. On the last day of tour when we reached Hilton hotel London, again our room was not reserved and we had to wait for almost 40 minutes to get the key
- Great Britain
The trip is great if you are someone who is interested in meeting new people and seeing a lot in a short time. Be aware that it is very early mornings and the stops are very short so you do not get to spend much time at each location. The tour felt very rushed and did not give us much free time although that is only because it is so jam packed with things to see and do. It did seem like we spent most of our time on the bus unfortunately but again, there’s so much to do in so little time it is understandable. The food and hotels were nice, nothing over the top but no complaints. Our tour guide Kevin made our trip as fun as it could be. He is a very welcoming, down to earth and personable. If I were to do a trip like this again, I would ensure Kevin was my guide.
- Grand Tour of Britain & Ireland
The tour was very organised, we saw lots of fabulous places. Sometimes we could have received more information about different (buildings, castles etc) but on the most part it was good. Of course some places we wanted to stay longer but I do understand why that isn’t possible.overall I really did enjoy the experience.
