What people love about England and Scotland Tours for Seniors
- England, Scotland & Wales
The trip as a once in a lifetime experience for my best friend and I. It was our first time travelling to Europe together, and our first time on a Cosmos tour... and we will definitely be doing more trips like these in the future. The accommodations were great and so was our itinerary. We were slightly disappointed that we couldn't go to Stonehenge due to the summer solstice, but our tour guide, Oshan, made sure we got to see some other fantastic and unique stone circles in many places we went. Our vacation was truly incredible!
- Amazing Britain (10 Days)
We went on the England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales 18 nights tour in 2014, absolutely awesome. Covered so much, but very informative at the same time. We went in September and the weather was perfect! Recommend to everyone interested in getting a taste of UK!
- Best of Scotland (Summer)
Highly recommend. First time to Scotland, and saw a good portion of this beautiful country. Wish we had more time on Isle of Skye... but realize that 7 days just not long enough to do/see all we wanted. Great guide and coach driver, and terrific weather the week there helped make this a fantastic family trip.

What is the best time of year for seniors to visit England and Scotland?
For seniors planning a trip to England and Scotland May-June and September stand out as the best months. The weather stays moderate with temperatures between 15-20°C (60-70°F). Travelers stay in centrally located 4-star hotels that put comfort and convenience first. The Intercontinental Edinburgh George Hotel serves as a typical example with its central location. London accommodations like the Tower Suites Hotel offer similar standards. Every property is chosen with senior travelers in mind featuring reliable elevators easy access and short walking distances to main attractions. Tour operators prioritize hotels where guests can rest well and easily reach nearby sights.
