I understood the tour would be fast paced to get through everything included. One hotel in Scotland was old but quaint with its odiocincrities and rabbit Warren corridors but a very beautiful building

Best holiday ever. My only complaint is that Trafalgar don't allow drivers and tour guides to dine with the tourists. I invited them a couple of times, but they said they weren't allowed.

What Makes Exploring England Scotland and Wales Such an Amazing Adventure?
You know exploring these three countries together is just incredible - you've got such different landscapes and cultural experiences packed into one trip. The thing is you need to plan your time carefully because distances can be tricky. Take the Britain and Ireland Experience tour that's 15 days long where you're enjoying the Dingle Peninsula one day then catching a ferry from Pembroke Wales across to Waterford the next. If you want to make things easier rail travel or guided tours really help with all the logistics.
Which Hidden Gems Should You Check Out That Most Tourists Miss?
Get off the beaten path and discover places like Bladon village in the Cotswolds where Winston Churchill's buried or explore the wild beauty of Snowdonia National Park in Wales. The dramatic landscapes of Glencoe in Scotland are absolutely breathtaking and there's such incredible history there - it's known as the Glen of Weeping because of the tragic MacDonald clan massacre back in 1692.
What's the Best Way to Get Around Using Public Transport?
British Rail connects all the major cities really well like that scenic route from Edinburgh down to York. Coach tours are great if you want everything organized for you and local buses can get you to smaller places. For island hopping there's regular ferries to places like Skye and Anglesey - the Britain and Ireland Delight tour uses the ferry from Holyhead on Anglesey to Dublin. Just think about how much flexibility you want and what works for your budget.
What Local Cultural Experiences Can You Actually Take Part In?
You can watch master craftsmen at work in the Waterford Crystal Showroom try locally made honey at this amazing Welsh vineyard or join in a proper Scottish ceilidh at a local pub or community hall. These experiences really let you connect with local culture - like on the Britain and Ireland Highlights tour where you spend time with the Norris family at their sustainable vineyard in Wales seeing how they make their products.
