Thank you very much for sharing your feedback about your recent Japan tour. We truly value your perspective, and I’d like to clarify a few points regarding the itinerary. The advertised program was clear that the first and last days are free days, as guests arrive and depart on different flights. On the booking page we also highlighted the 8D Splendid Japan option (without the final free day) to avoid confusion, and this was also explained in the Final Document sent a month before departure. The final free day in Tokyo is designed for guests who wish to extend their stay and explore at their own pace without changing hotels. When you reached out to me about this day, I shared recommendations around your hotel in Asakusa, including Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise-dori, Hanayashiki, a Sumida River cruise, Tokyo Skytree, and local dining streets. The last hotel (Far East Village Hotel Asakusa) is extremely conveniently located. It's only 7 minutes of walking from the famous Senso-Ji Temple. I’d also like to reassure you that Kyoto and Tokyo tours are included in the fare—there are no additional charges. Days 5 and 6 may have felt rushed because of the long travel distances from Nagoya to Mt. Fuji and then on to Tokyo. To enhance comfort, we were also pleased to upgrade 3 of the 5 hotels on this itinerary to 4-star properties. We regret if some aspects of communication and pacing felt insufficient, and we truly appreciate your comments as we continue to improve.
