What people love about Thailand Tours in October
- Thai Intro 12 Day
Firstly all i can say is that ThaIntro has been an absolutely amazing experience! Throughout the whole week i have had such an amazing time and had the chance to meet some lovely people! This is the second group tour i have done (including OzIntro) and i will definitely be doing another one. The activities we did were amazing and were really well organised. There wasn't one part of the week where i felt bored or wanting something to do. The food and restaurants that were included were so delicious and perfect for everyone to enjoy. The accommodation we stayed in Bangkok was In an amazing spot and the accommodation in Koh Phangan and Khao Sok were literally like paradise. Lastly our group leader Adam was one of the main reasons the group was so amazing. Even though there was 25 of us, he was always up for a laugh, ensured everyone was included and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves...which i think is amazing to be able to do! He organised everything so well, and his knowledge and tips on my onward travel through South East Asia was so helpful and helped me and my friend feel at ease going on traveling on our own. Overall i would definitely recommend ThaIntro to anyone wanting the most amazing start and experiences in Thailand!! Thank you ThaIntro
- Thailand Real Food Adventure
Great tour and guide. Good mix of activities and tried lots of foods I wouldn't have by myself. Recommended!
- Bangkok to Chiang Mai Express
Sita was amazing! Super nice and kind. Very helpful and informative in every way!
What our customers ask about Thailand Tours in October 2025
What are the best destinations to visit in Thailand during October?
Northern Thailand particularly Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai provide excellent October conditions with decreased rainfall and moderate temperatures. Visitors can explore Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or spend time at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. The Gulf islands including Koh Samui offer favorable weather while Bangkok's cultural sites see fewer crowds than peak months. A TourRadar traveler noted: "October was perfect for exploring the temples in Chiang Mai with fewer tourists and comfortable temperatures."
Are there any special festivals or events in Thailand during October?
Phuket's Vegetarian Festival stands out as a major October celebration with street processions and traditional ceremonies. Chiang Mai celebrates the End of Buddhist Lent (Ok Phansa) during this time. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Even with some rain the festivals and cultural experiences made October a unique time to visit Thailand."
How much does a trip to Thailand cost in October?
October's shoulder season pricing makes travel more economical. Eight-day tours start at USD 850 while 18-day comprehensive trips run up to USD 2099. Companies like Intro Travel's Thai Intro package stays at BB House Rambuttri in Bangkok with most meals and activities included averaging USD 120-130 daily.
What kind of accommodation can I expect in Thailand during October?
Lodging options range from beachfront bungalows at Sarana Bungalows in Koh Phangan to floating houses in Khao Sok National Park. Bangkok visitors often stay at Wild Orchid Villa while island travelers choose places like Kinaree House in Phi Phi. TourRadar users consistently rate accommodations 4.5 out of 5 across different tours.
What are the best islands to visit in Thailand during October?
The Andaman islands including Phi Phi and Phuket offer better October conditions than eastern Gulf locations. Railay Beach near Krabi and Koh Phi Phi are ideal for snorkeling and beach activities. G Adventures' Thailand Island Hopping tours typically include Maya Bay visits and Monkey Beach snorkeling with travelers noting "crystal clear waters and stunning limestone cliffs."
What is the weather like in Thailand during October?
October signals the rainy season's end with regional variations. Bangkok and central areas see occasional showers with temperatures of 25-30°C (77-86°F). Coastal regions like Phuket experience higher humidity and afternoon rain. TourRadar travelers report: "the weather didn't affect us at all we were snorkeling or swimming at beach nearly everyday" at locations like Tiki Beach Hotel in Phuket.
