Asked on January 11th, 2024Is it possible to start this tour on the 16th of March from Maun?
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written January 2024
Yes, you can join from there, but you would either need to arrange your own transport into the Okavango Delta to the accommodation where the group stays, or you would need to meet the group at 7AM at the accommodation.

Asked on November 30th, 2023I have some clients seeking a tour in April 2024. Will there be any dates available in April 2024?
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written November 2023
We have this tour available on 26 April 2024.

Martin
Traveler•Written December 2023The 26th of April does look like a likely date and could fit in OK with the rest of their plans, however, we still need to evaluate the client's other requirements.

Asked on October 6th, 2023Can you do a tour based on the tourist? I want to hit certain things but not everything that is in most of the tours.
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written October 2023
We have a set itinerary for our tours - so everything is done as per the dossier/itinerary. We do however have a tailor made department that can work something out to cater just for your need, but that will be on a private base, but for our scheduled tours, everything run as per the itinerary/dossier.

Asked on September 24th, 2023I am looking for a little more time in Okavango delta - 9 or 10 days. As I am a senior I need a bit of comfort meaning a bed/mattess off the ground. Do you have anything that you could suggest?
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written September 2023
All our scheduled tours just spend 2 nights in the Delta area. But for the accommodated tour - you do sleep on a bed (no camping), its not very luxury but it is a bed :)

Asked on March 25th, 2022Can you please advise on the below questions? What is the tent size during the tour? Do you handle luggage storage and are there requirements? Can you confirm there are vegetarian options available?
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written March 2022
Our tent sizes is 2.5 x 2.5 meter canvas tents. Each client get his/her own locker on the truck for your big bag by the size of 35 x 35 x 80cm. There is overhead storage for your small back pack if needed. We can assist if you are vegetarian - not a problem.

Traveler•Written March 2022I will be in Cape Town from around May 13 to 23, so I would like to do a tour that either ends a bit before the 13th or a bit after the 23rd. I would be open to a slightly longer trip, up to possibly 2 weeks. I would like it to include the same things (or more) on the 6 day trip, Okavango, Chobe, Victoria. I am not sure yet if my partner will be able to join me, so I need to know if there is a single upcharge. And an aside, being that space will be limited in the small backpack, I wonder if there is a one shoe that works for all the different ecosystems? Would it be a waterproof hiking boot, or an open toe hiking sandal? Just curious.
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written March 2022
I would suggest a closed shoe...you never know what creepy crawlies might get into an open shoe especially for the evenings as well a closed shoe is best if you camping. Sorry for the camping tour there is no single supplement but for the accommodated tour the single supplement is compulsory for a single client.

Traveler•Written April 2022Can you tell me how to get from Walvis Bay to Swakopmund? Would I need to get a taxi or a driver, or uber? Are there collectives? Also, I would be interested in the costs of the optional activities, such as the flight over Okavango, and the ride through Chobe. I am a bit concerned about the covid levels in Botswana right now, looking at the maps. Is it really as bad as that?
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written April 2022
There is taxi's you can take and at the information desk at the airport i am sure they will also to advise/assist arranging a taxi for you. Please see our pre departure document on page 18/19 is all the optional activities we offer rates - the optional activities can be booked with your guide on tour as those are weather dependable and subject to availability. We have been running tours through Botswana and what we trying to do is that the group create their own 'bubble' and not mix too much with others where it is not really necessary and we follow all protocols/regulations to make sure of the safety of our clients as well.
