  I loved the trip and the tour. Both Emilio, Clara and Miki were charming at all times and very attentive to my needs and well being. Always with a smile. I loved the area and Emilio's cooking. I still dream about his dishes, especially the tuna tartar and the gnocchi with prawns!!! It is an experience that I recommend to everyone without hesitation.

  Thank you Emilio and family for hosting me at Tenuta Linazza! I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. My heart is full from your generous hospitality. Emilio, your passion for cooking shines in every plate of delicious food you made. Thank you for sharing your chefs secrets and teaching me to respect every single ingredient. Cooking classes at the end of the day was highlight for me after enjoying the sights of Puglia. No day was rushed and I was able to have free time. My itinerary was moved to suit the weather to maximise my experience. My night tour in Leece was spent with Emilio’s father Antonio, who was born in Lecce, and was an expert guide of the area. Thanks to Michael also for showing me some sights including Alberobello which was truly a special town to visit. Until next time!

  Its really a taste of Salento! You live your days with an incredible family atmosphere,since the food( typical of this land)until the visit of the places! I felt like i was a family member and not a tourist.

  We were 2 couples on this small group tour during October- and had a marvellous time with Emilio, Clara, Michele and Antonio - staying in guest accommodation on an olive farm at Castoglione - with daily tours to see all the major tourist sites in this part of Italy. Because of the small and personal nature of the tour we were able to experience this part of Italy with much more of a "local flavour" than is normally possible - which we all appreciated. Emilio is an excellent chef and provided us with authentic ‘Pugliesi’ cuisine - something we looked forward to at the end of each day.

  Taste of Solento - Authentic Culinary Experience It was a quite nice week I spent at Tenuta Linazza, the place where host Emilio lives with his wife Clara and their four children. The location is beautiful, right in the middle of the campania. The room was newly built and quite nice and quiet. Emilio was a great host, who has a lot of information about the region of Salento. We (the company consisted of 7 people in total, a nice small group) were taken to many interesting places and beautiful little coastal towns like Otranto, Castro, Gallipoli. Also we visited an olive pressing company, an exhibition and a winery. The food (breakfast and diner) that Emilio served was very tasteful; he is an absolute chef! Also we learned a lot about the Italian kitchen, things that I definitely will apply in my own kitchen. On top of this Emilio made us guests feel at home and he mae these six days a wonderful experience,

  Do you want to experience the REAL Italy? Do you want to experience the area that Italians vacation at? Do you want to stay at a real working olive farm where the owner just happens to be a local celebrity chef too? When we say family owned, family run we mean it, in that the daily excursions (in the family van) and fabulous meals wouldn't be possible without the help of the wife, brother, father and even the four little ones!   Emilio and his family are so lovely. Very welcoming and friendly and Emilio is also an amazing cook. For the majority of my time there, I was the only guest, but they still went above and beyond to make my time with them very special. And it was. I was sad to leave and will always have very fond memories of my time in Castiglione. A wonderful time away from hoards of tourists.

  We took the Taste of Solento Authentic Culinary Cuisine Experience and enjoyed it very much. From our arrival at the airport Antonio made us feel welcomed and we were well received at the farm. Emilio and his family made us feel as we were part of the family. The 7 day tour is very personalized and Emilio et al go out of their way to take care of our every need The accommodations are great and the meals prepared by Emilio are very good I would recommend it very highly I must add also that Omar from Soleto Travel was also very helpful and answered our questions in a very quick time Thank you to Emilio and his family and Omar for making this a very enjoyable experience Christiane and Brian

  The food was tasty and the wine selections good. Lodging was adequate and clean, but having to walk on the roadway ( literally) to get to the restaurant was unsafe especially after dinner in the dark. My biggest complaint is with the transportation. I did not sign up for a tour to be driven around in filfthy and poorly maintained private vehicles. Twice two different vehicles failed to start, one of them being 40 km away. The air conditioning was non existent, The traffic laws were ignored and drivers capabilities were in question on many occasions. A clean reliable car and some driving lessons will go a long way in the success of this tour company.
