Zoe· July 19th, 2024My mates and I had a blast getting absolutely STOKED at Stoketoberfest. The tents were a bit rough but were absolutely perfect for this kind of event - literally just a place to pass out! The entertainment was fab and was really easy to get into to the main Oktoberfest halls from their campsite. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to Oktoberfest on a budget and have the party of their livesShow moreTrip date: September 2023
Wade· March 13th, 2023The tents were cold and wet, the breakfast was average*, but I still managed to have the best time of my life and would not only do it again, but recommend it to anybody! *they fixed that by the end of my stay thoughShow moreTrip date: September 2022- BLBenedict· March 13th, 2023I am not sure which was more fun, Oktoberfest or Stoketoberfest. Yeah, you have to rough it in a tent for a couple of nights, but in all honesty, it was one of the craziest weekends of my life! Unlimited beer, easy trip to the festival, great crowd. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend or younger siblings (but definitely not my mum).Show moreTrip date: September 2022
Nathaniel· March 13th, 2023Look it is not the Ritz but it doesn't pretend to be. It is a fantastic spot to meet a bunch of new people to go into Oktoberfest with. The afterparties were fun, and the site looked great, a lot of cool art. It was a bit cold but you are in the halls most of the time or dancing away so it was pretty fun. It saved me a lot of money, which I then blew in the halls...Show moreTrip date: September 2022
Rebecca· October 10th, 2022Only ended up staying one night. Certainly the most expensive night in a muddy tent I’ve ever spent. The bathrooms were flooded with muddy (and probably s***** water.) Volunteers were pressuring people to drink and speaking openly about doing hard drugs. I knew it was going to be a party scene, but I didn’t anticipate it being so potentially dangerous.Show moreTrip date: September 2022
Carissa· August 13th, 2018If you're an 18 yo kiwi or aussie looking to get completely annihilated everyday, welcome to paradise. If you're over 25, looking for somewhere dry and warm to sleep, reasonable food and basic conditions, steer clear. To be fair, the conditions weren't entirely unbearable, and I can see the appeal for those fresh-outta-school, but for 60 euros pp a night (70 with unlimited booze), you can get a twinshare airbnb or hotel for less. Unless you plan to forgo Oktoberfest, stay onsite and really abuse the 'unlimited' food and booze, this really isn't great value for money. The tents were tiny, and barely big enough for 2 people, let alone bags. The 'air mattress' had no air in it and was super uncomfortable. It was freezing at night, so I asked for extra sleeping bags, all of which were torn, dirty and damp. You had to pay for hot water, but it didn't always work. The included food was subpar and ran out very quickly. You have to catch a bus and train to get into the city, and services were pretty infrequent. Overall, when you've been out all day at Oktoberfest, this is the last place on earth that you want to come back to.Show more

Show moreTrip date: September 2017- JSJulie· November 15th, 2017Oktoberfest with Stoke Travel was fantastic! The hosts were so welcoming and even helped me with cleaning up an unfortunate situation that involved vomit in my tent. :( The hosts wanted to make sure we were set from the start, and had an awesome time. The heated bathrooms are nice, and definitely search those out right when you get there because the temp drops at night. Snag a pair of earplugs for the sleeping at night, since you are mighty close to other tents. Overall awesome experience with stoke travel and thanks for the incredible hospitality!! Cheers!Show moreTrip date: September 2017

Asked on February 1st, 2017Is there security present around the campsite for any valuables that are left behind during the daytime and also for safety during the nighttime?
Stoke TravelOperator•Written February 2017There is a 24 hour security on site. never had a theft issue, likely due to the fact that the thousands of guests are all international travellers sensitive to the nuisance of a stolen phone etc.
