- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive at Ho Chi Minh City airport whenever works for your schedule. A driver from Legend Travel Group will meet you at baggage claim and take you to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and wander around the city at your own pace, getting a feel for the local vibe and neighborhoods.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Start with breakfast at your hotel, then head out to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, both left over from Vietnam's colonial era. From there, tour the Reunification Palace, the former presidential residence. Grab lunch at a local spot, and then it's off to Cu Chi Tunnels, which is about 75 km away (roughly 1.5 hours driving). You'll walk through the tunnel network, learn how fighters built it all, check out war artifacts, try traditional food, and actually go down into the tunnels yourself. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for the evening.

Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau
After breakfast at your hotel, leave Ho Chi Minh City at 8:00 am heading to Vung Tau on the coast, which takes about 2.5 hours. Along the way you'll see rural countryside and rubber plantations. Once there, check out the White Palace, a French colonial building with ocean views, then head up Nho Mountain to see the Christ the King Statue for views of the city and water below. Next is Thich Ca Phat Dai Pagoda where there's a giant Buddha statue. Have lunch, then spend free time at Vung Tau Beach relaxing. By around 6:00 pm you'll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and settle in at your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho
Your driver picks you up at 8:00 am for a drive along National Highway toward My Tho, passing rice fields the whole way. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, then take a boat through the delta seeing stilt houses, fruit farms, and fishing villages. Lunch happens at an orchard garden on Tortoise Islet. After that, you'll go by sampan through waterways lined with water coconut trees to An Khanh in Ben Tre, a quieter area where you'll try seasonal fruit and honey tea while listening to local folk music. Visit a family business making coconut candy and see rural life up close. Later, head to Can Tho and check into your hotel for the night (dinner available if staying at a homestay).

Can Tho to Chau Doc
Early start for a boat trip through Mekong tributaries to Cai Rang floating market, one of the busier ones around (Phong Dien is another option). See how Vietnamese vermicelli soup gets made, walk the village, talk to locals, and cross a traditional bamboo monkey bridge. Stop at an orchard garden before lunch. Later, head to Chau Doc and explore Tra Su wildlife sanctuary by small boat where you might spot storks and cranes in the forest waterways. If time allows, stop at Sam Mountain and Cave Pagoda on the way back. Check into your hotel in Chau Doc for the night.

Chau Doc to Phnom Penh
Get picked up early at 7:00 am and head to Chau Doc harbor. Board an express boat for Phnom Penh, Cambodia, which takes about 5 hours and gets you there between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm. Check in at the land port when you arrive. From the harbor to downtown Phnom Penh is roughly 15 to 20 minutes by tuk-tuk.
