Itinerary
- Day 1
Siem Reap
You'll land in Siem Reap and get picked up from the airport, then head to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, explore the city, or just rest up. Later you'll meet the group for a welcome dinner at Marum, a restaurant run by a social enterprise that works with youth in difficult situations.

Siem Reap
The early start happens at 4:30am when you'll cycle out to catch sunrise over Angkor Wat, which is definitely one of those moments people put on their list. After that you'll spend the morning seeing more temples in the area. By early afternoon you'll stop at an NGO to talk with local staff about their work and get a real sense of what communities here are dealing with.

Landmarks/POIs Angkor Wat - Day 3
Angkor to Battambang
Starting out on bikes, you'll cycle across the wetlands and follow increasingly remote single track roads alongside the Tonle Sap river. After covering about 16km, you'll load your bikes onto a long-tail boat and travel through the wetlands for a bit, then continue another 18km on dirt roads before rolling into Battambang. You'll have time to walk around town, check out cafes and the local art scene, see the colonial architecture and shops, then eat dinner at another social enterprise restaurant.

Battambang to Pursat
After an early breakfast you'll cycle along red dust back roads past Banan temple and arrive in Pursat by early afternoon. Check in at your hotel and take advantage of the pool and massage spa if you want to relax. Later you'll meet with executives from Sustainable Cambodia NGO for a presentation at their office, then tour around to see their projects happening on the ground.

Landmarks/POIs Banan Temple - Day 5
Pursat to Phnom Penh
Today's a big cycling day with 75km from Pursat back to Phnom Penh on back roads that wind through villages built along the Tonle Sap lake. You'll stop for coffee, get some photos, and cross a couple of ferries, mostly on quiet streets away from traffic. If you need it, you can take a van for the last 2km into the city. Dinner takes you to Romdeng, a social enterprise restaurant where you'll eat tarantulas and try silk works.

Phnom Penh
Start by meeting with the Friends International team to learn about what they do locally and their work around the world. Then head to the Russian market before moving on to Tuol Sleng, also called the S-21 Genocide Museum, where you'll explore a difficult but really important part of Cambodian history. After that the afternoon is yours to sit with what you've learned, maybe grab a coffee somewhere. Later you'll have a local Khmer BBQ dinner with the group.

Phnom Penh
This is your last day of the tour. You'll have breakfast and then time to get a massage or relax at a cafe and watch the day happen around you. The tour team will help sort out your airport transfer or answer questions about whatever comes next in your travels.
