- Antonia· October 30th, 2024Danny and the whole team, both Barry and I had an amazing holiday in both Vietnam and Cambodia. The whole trip was planned down to the smallest details, all the guides, drivers were excellent and looked after us very well. The places we visited were amazing, for 3 star hotels, they were excellent, with some even having pools which was a bonus at the end of a day sightseeing to have a cool off and drink. The guides in particular were very knowledgeable, knew which entrance to access various pagodas/temples so we did not have to line up with "other tourists". Too many highlights to point out the best. This trip was for a small group - 8 max, most of the time it was just the 2 of us, so a very private tour, other times 6 - 8 people, which was nice to meet people from other parts of the world including one couple that only live a few kms from where we live (small world). Highly recommend Legends Tour and will definitely use them again. - TCThomas Clarke· August 2nd, 2024We had a fantastic tour with Legend Travel. Maximum group size was 12 but as chance would have it we were the only 2 on the tour which made it essentially private. To their credit, Legend Travel do not cancel if numbers are low, much appreciated. On one occasion we were amalgamated with other groups but apart from that, just the 2 of us. The tour itself went like clockwork. Pickups each day were between 7:30 and 8:30 apart from 4:45 for the Angkor Wat sunrise. All our guides were excellent and informative and our drivers delivered us safely to each stop. The big city hotels were fine but not as memorable as those in smaller locations like Hoi An. One hotel room was changed following the intervention of Mr Danny, our Legend contact who was always on hand if we needed him. All the tour points were memorable with a wealth of history and culture to be appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history and culture of Vietnam and Cambodia made all the better by the organising professionalism of Legend Travel. It's not comfortable, there's no air conditioned in the ship, and the process is quite slow. - JTJanet· March 8th, 2024My husband and I enjoyed the sights, culture, experiences and knowledgeable guides the tour offered. Tour Radar were very good to deal with and helped me with issues I had just 2 days prior to departure. The company operating the tour however were hard to get in touch with and communication was lacking. I only received my final itinerary with accommodation listings 5 hours before I was due to fly out of Australia. Throughout the tour, myself and my guide for the day were often chasing our company representative about our internal flight details and we often received our barding passes on the day we were due to leave. One flight was due to depart at 11pm at night, but due to issues left at 1.30am the following morning and we arrived at our hotel at 4am, and then had to get up and start a tour at 9am. Also, it was 'Tet' (Lunar New Year) in Vietnam when our tour was due to start and some of the sites we were due to visit were closed due to the public holiday. Much of the time it was only the two of us with our guide and driver eventhough it was advertised as a small group tour of 12 people. We experienced so many interesting things and learnt a lot in the two weeks. Meals were delicious. Our guides were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English and were always on time. Legend Travel and Tony did an excellent job organizing our trip. Everything was well arranged, and the excursions were enjoyable with generally good English-speaking guides. All excursions started on time. The hotels were of mid-range quality but comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic vacation.
