- NNEIL· November 12th, 2024The tour was excellent and well organised. Each tour guide was informative, helpful and friendly, making our trip hassle free. Nothing was a problem, even when we were impacted by the typhoon, our guide, Rose (Hong Nghia Dinh Thi) ensured we didn't miss any of our designated places, especially Ba Na Hills, which was an absolute highlight! She was particularly helpful in everything that we needed. The overall Operations Manager, Mr Danny Nguyen, was outstanding throughout our whole tour. He was waiting for us at 2am at our hotel in Hanoi when our plane was delayed and made every arrangement for drivers, airport transfers , boarding passes and flights flow without any problem All our accomodation was excellent and the staff were all .helpful and attentive. We would be very happy to book with Tour Radar again and highly recommend them.Show more

Mr Danny in Hanoi sorted everything out for us from all of the flight check-ins, boarding passes and letting us know details of all the pick ups for the tours. All of the tour guides were great and informative especially Ha Li and Tintin (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong). The Movenpick in Phu Quoc was an amazing hotel and well worth the upgrade. We did have one issue in the hotel in Ho Chi Minh but Danny and Tintin fixed this for us very effortlessly and this is often the measure of how things are viewed as these things were beyond the control of Legend. Hoi An was our favourite venue as quite chilled and the lanterns at night were amazing. Hanoi is mad - just so busy. Halong Bay is just beautiful, make sure you get up to see how the sun rises as it just mesmeric. Hue's mausoleum and the Citadel are very impressive. Ho Chi Minh was a bit more "western" but the tunnels are inspirational of how the Vietnamese coped with the war. We visited the War Remnants museums the Palace was closed and we could have spent hours there as these sort of venues should be shown to show the atrocities that occur so that people do not forget the past.The last few days by the pool were gratefully received as we were able to relax. The schedule is set but if you want to make other arrangements they do, without a bother. Chu Minh Thang has been fabulous as she has been with me from the beginning of the booking process! I had an unfortunate situation occur at my first hotel, and Minh worked out alternate arrangements no problem for me. The drivers and guides have all turned out to be fabulous and extremely knowledgeable of the areas they are in. The bonus to having local, English speaking guides! Before I left Canada I was curious how the transition was going to work with pick ups and groups etc. But so far it has been excellent, very well executed!
