The tours more suitable are our 'Small Group' accommodated tours that typically run Pretoria/ Zimbabwe/ Victoria Falls/ Botswana/ Okavango, back to Pretoria. Acacia tour code : SAM14A - Kruger to the Delta, Chobe and Victoria Falls 14 days. It runs every 2 weeks (weekly in the high season months July/ Aug/Sep/Oct) and is accommodated every night except one which is in a pre-erected camp with low level bedding (in the Okavango).

Accommodations on tour are twin share, most rooms ensuite at what we call tourist class standard. This means they are simple, clean, secure but not star rated. It is not sold as luxury to but rather as for people who do now wish to camp but do not wish to pay for high-end lodge accommodations. Within the 19 days (18 nights) ee have 3 nights camping: one night is in a semi permanent camp in the Okavango (with bedding supplied) , the other two nights are in Namibia where Acacia provides all camping equipment including a sleeping bag and pillow. The reason we camp on these 3 nights is that there is no practical alternative in the areas concerned. The price is per the Tour Radar website, it consists of a 'Tour Price' and an additional Adventure Pass which we ask you to pay direct to the tour leader on day one of the tour and in 2024 is USD 390. It may rise slightly for 2025 departures.

As a Dutch Passport holder your will need a visa for Zambia. This can be obtained at the airport/border upon arrival. Vaccination: all clients must be fully vaccinated against Covid19.

The scenic flight over the okavango is an additional optional activity. Meaning that you will need to book & pay locally, it is not included in the Tour Price nor Adventure Pass. The Tour Leader will assist with the local booking process while on tour. Adventure Pass Highlights: Chobe NP, Fish Eagle Boat Cruise, Chobe NP Open Vehicle Game Drive with Resident Guide, Okavango Delta Wilderness Excursion, Mokoro/Walking Safari, Sossusvlei Excursion and 4x4 Shuttle.

Every Acacia Overland tour has an Adventure Pass which is paid to your tour leader in Africa at the beginning of the tour (or pre-paid by arrangement prior to your tour). This is separate and in addition to the Tour Price, and covers selected park entries, activities and excursions along the way where payment goes directly to the supplier to ensure local suppliers benefit directly from the income.
