Anchorage to Seward
This morning you'll drive south on the Seward Highway along the Kenai Peninsula, traveling between cliffs and ocean through Chugach National Forest. By afternoon, you'll head out to hike the Harding Icefield Trail to see Exit Glacier up close.

Seward

Seward to Talkeetna
You'll travel north to Talkeetna, a small town with several options for the day. You can take a scenic flight over the region, go rafting, or try a jet boat tour on the Talkeetna River. If you prefer something less adventurous, the town itself has shops and a local microbrewery to check out.

Landmarks Talkeetna River - Day 5
Talkeetna to Denali National Park
Heading north toward Denali National Park, you'll see some beautiful scenery along the way. You'll watch a dog sledding demonstration and then explore the park's glaciated landscape. There are hiking trails available if you want to get out and walk around.

Denali National Park
You'll spend the entire day in Denali National Park on a scenic shuttle bus that goes to East Fork Bridge at Mile 43. Keep an eye out for moose, bears, and caribou. The landscape with its plants, wildlife, and mountains gives you a real feel for what this park is all about.
