Bangkok
You'll arrive in Bangkok and have time to wander around before the welcome meeting at 6 pm. Chinatown's worth checking out, or you could visit the Grand Palace if you're in the mood for it. Later this evening, your leader takes the group through street food around Sukhumvit, and after that you'll hit up some local bars with everyone.

- Day 2
Bangkok to Chiang Mai
The whole day is yours to do what you want in Bangkok. Get a Thai massage, cycle through Talad Noi, or see some temples if you're interested. That evening, you'll board an overnight train heading north toward Chiang Mai.

- Day 3
Chiang Mai
You arrive in Chiang Mai this morning and transfer to your guesthouse. After an orientation walk to get familiar with the area, the rest of the day is open. Options include ziplining, cycling, a cooking class, or checking out Doi Sethep Temple. In the evening, explore the night markets around Nimman or hop between bars if you're interested.

- Day 4
Chiang Mai to Mae Ma Nai Hilltribe Village
Around 8 am you'll head out from Chiang Mai to Mae Malai Market to grab fresh snacks, then visit Mok Fah Waterfall. After lunch at a local spot, your trek begins. You'll hike along mountain ridges through natural forest with views of remote scenery, reaching Mae Ma Nai Hilltribe Village by evening. Dinner is a home-cooked meal by the campfire, and there's time for a walk around the village to meet locals.

Mae Ma Nai Hilltribe Village to Pong Ngan Lahu Village
This morning the jungle wakes you up. After breakfast you'll trek through farmland and jungle, visiting other hilltribe villages to see how different communities live. Lunch happens somewhere along the trail, and you'll arrive at Pong Ngan Lahu Village in the afternoon. After two solid hiking days, you'll have time to rest, and dinner's included at a local home.

Pong Ngan Lahu Village to Chiang Mai
Early on you'll head to Mae Taeng River for a kayaking trip toward Sop Kai Village. The paddle downstream takes 2 to 3 hours through green scenery. After that, you can either return to Chiang Mai for a relaxing evening or do whitewater rafting first. When you have free time, Wat Prasingh and Wat Chedi Luang temples are worth visiting.

Chiang Mai to Bangkok
You've got a free day with lots of choices. In the morning, take a 1.5-hour Muay Thai session if boxing interests you. Or head to Chiang Chill Elephant Sanctuary to see elephants in their natural environment. There's also Chuan Chom Vocational Training Center for lunch, a massage, and learning about their programs for women. That evening you'll board an overnight train back to Bangkok.

Bangkok
Your train pulls in to Bangkok early this morning. You'll check into your accommodation and say goodbye to anyone leaving. The day is free until a group meeting at 6 pm. Hit up the bustling markets, grab some street food, or get a Thai massage to relax. After the meeting, head out for dinner or explore Bangkok's nightlife with the group.

- Day 9
Bangkok
Start the day at Wat Pho, where you'll see the 46-meter Reclining Buddha statue that takes up most of the temple's interior space. After that, head to a nearby flower market to walk through the stalls and get a sense of how Bangkok's mornings work for locals. You've got free time in the afternoon to check out other spots like the Grand Palace or the Jim Thompson House, depending on what interests you most. Later tonight, you'll make your way to the train station and board an overnight train heading south toward Surat Thani, so you can settle in and sleep during the journey.

- Day 10
Surat Thani to Ko Samui
You arrive in Surat Thani this morning and take a bus and ferry to Ko Samui. Once there, your time is free to explore this island known for palm-lined beaches and coconut groves. Renting a scooter to beach hop around works well if that appeals to you. Later, gather with the group for dinner and your leader can point you toward the best restaurants.

- Day 11
Ko Samui
Join a half-day guided tour around Ko Samui with your group and a local leader. The main stop is Wat Phra Yai, home to the 15-meter Big Buddha statue that overlooks the island. In the afternoon, if you're interested, there's an option to relax at Na Muang waterfalls and cool off from the heat (around 88°F/31°C). Once evening arrives, you'll have a curry feast lined up for dinner, then head out to experience Ko Samui's nightlife scene, which ranges from beach bars to clubs depending on what you're looking for.

Ko Samui
It's a free day on Ko Samui so you can swim, sunbathe, or actively explore however you like. Optionally, take a day tour to Ang Thong Marine National Park by slow or speedboat to see over 40 islands with pristine beaches, jungle, mangroves, and limestone mountains. Ko Mae Island has good swimming and the Emerald Lake is worth checking out. Or head to Ko Tao and Ko Nang Yuan for quieter spots and snorkeling, or visit the island's elephant sanctuary.

Ko Samui - Khao Sok National Park
Head out early in the morning for the ferry from Samui Pier to Don Sak Pier, then switch to a private vehicle that takes you into Khao Sok National Park toward Chiew Larn Lake. Once you arrive at the lake, you'll board a traditional longtail boat for a peaceful ride out to your raft house, and during the journey watch for wild elephants, gibbons, and dusky leaf monkeys that live in the area. That evening, another longtail boat takes you deeper into the jungle for a wildlife safari where you might spot more of the park's animals. After you return to your raft house, settle down for a homecooked traditional southern Thai meal prepared by locals, then spend the night listening to the jungle sounds around you.

Khao Sok National Park to Phuket
You wake up in the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world at your raft house. The morning mist sets the scene as you search for wildlife by longtail boat. A jungle hike around the park takes you past possible waterfalls or panoramic viewpoints depending on the season. Later you'll travel to Phuket, stopping at the Khao Lak Tsunami Memorial and the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center to learn about turtle rescue and conservation work. Your evening in Phuket is free to watch the sunset and relax.
