Hanoi
Your driver from Legend Travel Group meets you at Hanoi airport whenever you land and takes you straight to your hotel. After you check in, the rest of the day is completely yours. You can rest up from your flight or wander around the city if you're feeling up to it.

Hanoi
Grab breakfast at your hotel, then head out with a guide to see Hanoi's main cultural sites. You'll check out Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, the Ho Chi Minh complex, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Depending on the schedule, either the Vietnam Ethnology Museum or Women's Museum comes next. After lunch at a local spot, you'll walk through the Temple of Literature and Hoa Lo Prison before heading back to rest.

Hanoi to Bakhan Village
Leave Hanoi at 8:30 am and drive through countryside toward Bakhan Village, passing through Hoa Binh City. Around 10:30 am there's a stop for tea or coffee. Lunch happens at the village restaurant after you arrive and settle in. At 3:00 pm, take a walk through Muong Village of Khan Ha and up West Hill to see the valley. Dinner is at 7:00 pm, and if available, there's a traditional dance performance from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.

Bakhan Village to Hanoi
Start at 9:00 am with an East Mountain trek that works for most fitness levels, and you'll get nice views across the valley. Get back to the resort by 11:00 am to rest before checkout. Eat lunch at noon, then leave for Hanoi at 1:30 pm. You'll reach Hanoi Old Quarter around 5:00 pm with time to explore on your own.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, a minivan or bus picks you up between 8:30 and 9:00 am for the 3.5 hour drive to Halong City. Along the way you'll pass countryside and rice paddies. At the port, board an authentic Chinese junk boat and start cruising through Halong Bay. Stop to see the Amazing Cave and swim in the emerald water, then anchor for the night. Dinner is served as you watch the sunset, with options to swim in phosphorescent water or relax on deck under stars.

Halong Bay to Hanoi to Hoi An
Rise early to catch the sunrise and have breakfast on the boat while cruising through thousands of islands. Visit a floating fishing village to learn how the fishermen live and work. Lunch is on board as you head back toward Halong City, arriving around 3:30 to 4:00 pm. From there, your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Hoi An. Once you land, staff pick you up and take you to your hotel for the evening.

Hoi An to My Son
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 am for My Son, a UNESCO site about 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Walk through the red brick towers and sanctuaries of this ancient Cham capital and religious center built between the 7th and 13th centuries. See intricate carvings and sculptures scattered through the lush valley. Back in Hoi An around 1:00 pm, grab lunch on your own. Spend the afternoon shopping for the town's famous lanterns, custom tailoring, and handcrafted goods, or just explore at your pace.

Hoi An to Da Nang to Hue
After breakfast, spend the full day checking out Hoi An's temples, pagodas, and museums. Visit a temple showing Chinese and Japanese influences, a pagoda for sailors and fishermen, and an 1700s chapel. Tour the Sa Huynh Museum near the Japanese Covered Bridge. Then take a boat on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island to watch traditional woodworkers and shipbuilders. Drive toward Hue with stops at Cham Museum and Ngu Hanh Son Mountain in Da Nang (pay your own ticket), plus the scenic Hai Van Pass overlooking Son Tra Peninsula. Rest at Lang Co Beach before arriving in Hue in the afternoon.

Hue to Ho Chi Minh City
Start with breakfast, then take a boat on the romantic Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest and most important site in Hue. Visit the mausoleums of Emperor Khai Dinh and Tu Duc, two major historic landmarks. After lunch with traditional Vietnamese food, explore the Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO site, and the Purple Forbidden City. Stop at Thuy Xuan incense-making village to see how traditional incense is made, then check out Dong Ba market, Hue's biggest and liveliest marketplace. Head to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, then transfer to your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, explore Ho Chi Minh City's main attractions. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, built by the French in the 1800s in neo-Romanesque style. Stop at the historic Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel with beautiful maps and arched windows. See the Reunification Palace, the former presidential palace of South Vietnam. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then drive about 1.5 hours to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels (75 km away). Learn about the tunnels' role in the Vietnam War and explore the underground network with trap doors, living spaces, storage, and field hospitals. Try the simple food the fighters ate. Return to your hotel for the night.

Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho
After breakfast, your guide picks you up at 8:00 am for the drive to My Tho, capital of Tien Giang Province, about 75 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City on the Mekong River. Explore one or two islands where they make traditional handcrafts like coconut candy and run bee farms. Visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region, and reach it by boat through beautiful gardens with detailed architecture and impressive sculptures. Head back to Ho Chi Minh City, check in at your hotel, and stay overnight.

Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. You'll arrive around noon and meet your guide and driver at the airport. Start at Angkor Thom, a walled city covering 10 square km with walls and moats. Enter through the grand South Gate lined with demon and god statues with giant nagas. See the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper Kings with their dramatic carvings. Check out the ruined Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, and Phimeanakas before reaching the mysterious Bayon Temple. Climb to the central sanctuary to see the famous giant stone faces. End with a sunset from an ancient temple's upper level, then return to your hotel.

Siem Reap Angkor Temples
After breakfast, start exploring the Angkor temples. Begin at Angkor Wat, the largest and best-preserved temple, impressive for its scale and proportioned layout. Cross the moat and causeway lined with naga balustrades, climb through galleries and courtyards to the central sanctuary with views over the causeway. Admire intricate carvings covering nearly every surface, including about 1,700 celestial dancers called Apsaras, plus the longest continuous bas-relief in the world showing Hindu mythology. Continue to Ta Prohm, where jungle growth makes it feel mystical and untouched. Visit Banteay Srei, considered the jewel of classical Khmer art, built in pink sandstone with exquisitely preserved delicate carvings. Also see Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, and Ta Prohm temple. Return to your hotel for check-in.

Siem Reap Departure
After breakfast, the morning is yours to spend however you like exploring Siem Reap or shopping for souvenirs. When it's time to leave for your flight, your private driver picks you up from the hotel and takes you to the airport. The airport transfer is included in your tour package.
