- ERErika· July 10th, 2025The people, the itinerary, the community, and just the overall experience was amazing. All of the guides, volunteers, and people I met that lived in the community were so welcoming and kind. I met some of the best people and the work we did felt meaningful. The adventures we went on were also incredible. The hikes, camping, and sandboarding on the volcanoes were all experiences I’ll never forget. This trip was way more meaningful than if I went on a trip by myself. I will definitely be going on more Give trips because they allow you to experience more things and experience the culture more than a regular trip would.Show moreGIVE Volunteers commented on this reviewWe’re so glad your experience felt meaningful and full of connection, Erika. From volcano adventures to community impact, it sounds like you embraced it all! We can’t wait to see you on another GIVE trip soon!Trip date: June 2025
- Savvy· July 7th, 2025My experience with GIVE while visiting Nicaragua was absolutely incredible. The local guide, Moises, was very helpful in explaining his country's culture. The other guides, Megan and Tanner, were great as well. Being Muslim, I was hoping to visit the only mosque in the country, and GIVE was so kind to help me with that accommodation. I am currently planning on travelling with this company next summer. I would definitely recommend GIVE!Show moreGIVE Volunteers commented on this reviewThis makes us so happy, thank you for sharing your experience! - OOOlivia· June 20th, 2025Traveling with GIVE has changed my life forever. GIVE has taught me how to not only exist but to live and experience life to the fullest extent. I’ve learned what it means to be a global citizen and to be on #TeamHuman. During my time in Nicaragua with GIVE, my entire outlook on life and the world was broadened for the better. I learned the importance of leaving a larger handprint wherever I go, as well as to serve the people and communities of the world. Nicaragua and its people hold such a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to travel with GIVE again. #Connect #Inspire #EmpowerShow moreGIVE Volunteers commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your incredible experience! - KateLynn· July 3rd, 2024Prior to attending this GIVE trip to Nicaragua, I had never gone on a trip without my family; let alone going to a foreign country all by myself. The trip started out rocky, some weather delayed the trip 1 day for myself and 4 other travelers however once we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by everyone. Being fully immersed in the culture and community of Jiquilillo was truly an eye opening experience. From learning how to surf and make tortillas with the locals to climbing two active volcanoes, so many memories were made on this trip and I will forever hold Jiquilillo in my heart. I am so profoundly grateful to have had this experience with this amazingly beautiful group of people. Going on this trip has truly opened my eyes as to how to be a true global citizen and how to leave long lasting handprints on my community and the world. I 100% recommend stepping outside of your comfort zone and taking the step to go on a GIVE trip. Making memories with a group of people you only just met and being able to experience the things you will experience on this trip is truly the experience of a lifetime.Show moreGIVE Volunteers commented on this reviewThis is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your heart. We are grateful every day to have a family of such inspiring travelers like yourself! Keep leaving those handprints - the impact you make is more than you'll ever realize <33Trip date: May 2024
