We had never done a coach tour before and had never "partied" for 11 days with people that we had never met. But this was an amazing trip! Rachelle Brown was our tour leader and she excelled! The absolute thought and organisation she put into the tour was exceptional. I believe there were about 40 on our coach and by the end of the trip we had all made friends and had such a great laugh together- it was memorable as one of the best holidays. Rachelle ensured that everyone knew the itinerary and had pulled together some incredible tour guides in the places that we visited to ensure that we had the best experience. She enthused so much energy into the trip making sure all on board were catered for. And yes, I would do it all again!Show more

Your mom is welcome to join the tour as long as she is aware of the level of fitness required. We do walking tours through cities that can last up to 3 hours with steps and cobblestones. She needs a certain level of fitness to enjoy the tour fully.

Asked on April 3rd, 2025I have been considering your Eastern Highlights tour for next year but a couple of your reviews mention having to use public transport a lot to and from the hotels as they are away from the city centres. As the reviews are from a few years ago I wondered if that is still the case as that would be quite a significant difficulty for me.

We do make use of public transport which is guided by your tour leader in some cities which is sometimes the best way to move around and see so much. Most of the time we make use of the coach when driving between cities.

Our cancellation policy is as follows, If you or any other member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed package you must notify us in writing or via call. If you cancel within 10 days of creating your booking and you are not yet within 60 days of departure, you will be eligible for a full refund. 60 days or more before departure = Loss of deposit, 45 - 59 days before departure = 20% of tour cost, 30 - 44 days before departure = 40% of tour cost, 15 - 29 days before departure = 70% of tour cost, 14 days or less before departure = 100% of tour cost.

For our Tours, we believe the best way to get to the heart and soul of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. Many of the cities you visit are vast and old, often with steps and cobblestones. Our walking tours can last up to 3 hours with plenty of opportunities to take photographs and soak up the history of these fascinating places, but you do require a certain level of fitness to enjoy your tour to its fullest.

This tour has indeed a 10AM Meet Up Time on Day 1. However, it is okay if you will not arrive before that time since the itinerary for the first day will only be in Munich and you can just catch up with the group at the Hotel where the accommodations for the first night will be.
