  I was travelling on my own for the first time in Vietnam and with the backing of Hanna and Julia from Indochina, the experience was outstanding. They were behind me all the way, everything went to schedule and they added a personal touch. It was an amazing trip, full on and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see alot of the country in a limited amount of time.

  I thought I was booking a tour with the same guide and people all week but each day of the itinerary is actually outsourced to local guides. It’s not a good or bad thing, but it took me by surprise… it does make sense though. So you are with different guides and people each day. If I knew this I may have organised these day tours myself upon arrival, and stayed in nicer accom. Having said that it was nice to have everything arranged for me and I did end up meeting some nice people along the way. Personally as a solo traveler I didn’t need overnight in Halong bay. Perhaps there should be the option to return to Hanoi or something. Although I was a bit freaked out when I met the Indochina agents and realized I was kind of on my own, they were really nice ladies. They were very attentive and always encouraged me to contact them if I needed anything. Overall a decent trip.

  My husband and I very much enjoyed our TourRadar trip to Vietnam. Each day was a new adventure for us, and everything was planned and coordinated down to the smallest detail…we really had nothing to worry about except showing up on time! Our trip coordinators (Hana and Julia) were exceptionally friendly, professional, and responsive. They ensured our busy schedule was expertly coordinated with drivers and local guides; they arranged our domestic flight itinerary (to include checking us in online and providing our boarding passes); and they checked in on us frequently to make sure our needs were being met the whole time. They even worked with the host during our Ha Long Bay cruise to decorate our room for our anniversary celebration…a touching gesture on their part! Each of the local guides were informative and welcoming, eager to share Vietnamese culture with us. We ate the most delicious meals, and tried new, yummy coffee concoctions. Our accommodations were all in convenient locations, and were clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was always provided a warm welcome too.

  We were thrilled with our experience! While we understood the benefit of the planned and included meals, we hoped that they would be less westernized. Still, our guides and our coordinators were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. When there were issues with the hotel rooms, our coordinators Trinh and Julia advocated for us an fixed the issues immediately. We loved our trip and would be happy to book with Indochina again!

  Amazing day tour to 8 Day in Vietnam from Hanoi to Da Nang. I was so excited for Hanoi to Halong and ninh binh water caves. Boat woman took to 3 to 4 different caves and we had the best water cave experience. Guide was very clearly explaining everything. While trekking at the mua caves he came many times to ask if my daughter is okay, Halong Bay Cruise very interesting and enjoy activities on cruise. Lunch buffet was outstanding. Da Nang truly nice places and special Hoian, So many options for vegans and vegetarians they provided. Value for money.

  I am quite impressed with the tour guide of the company. The service is attentive and enthusiastic. Both food and drinks are very well prepared. Enthusiastic support, reasonable cost. Despite the unfavorable weather, he still made the tour on time and very safely. I am satisfied with the trip!!!!

From vibrant city tours to serene river excursions, we visited a diverse array of attractions, including historically significant sites and breathtaking natural wonders. The contrast between the lush rice fields and a modern amusement park showcased the unique blend of tradition and modernity that Vietnam offers. One of the standout features of this trip was the exceptional guidance provided by Friendly Planet. Our guide, Mike, was truly remarkable. His knowledge and enthusiasm significantly enhanced our experience, and I cannot emphasize enough how much he contributed to the success of our trip. The culinary experiences were equally delightful. I particularly enjoyed learning about egg coffee, a local specialty that added a unique twist to our meals. Each dining experience was enjoyable, and the variety of flavors we encountered was a highlight of the journey. Accommodations were of high quality, with comfortable hotels that provided a welcoming atmosphere. I was especially fond of the Hoi An Historic Hotel, which exuded character and charm.
