Great Tour Guide, spoke english but not good enough if you stand far away (3-5m) One Bad thing: we had a train ride from BKK- the south of Thailand. The trip was around 10h. Most of us didn’t sleep more then 1h. We arrived at 4am. So expectedly, we were really exhausted. The Tour sadly didn’t have a chill day that day. We went right after the stop to a Lake, went swimming all day. There was not enough space for people to lie down and maybe sleep 1h. Finally we arrived at the Hotel at 6pm totally exhausted. But it didn’t stop there, we had 30min break to get ready for dinner and karaoke till 1am. Sadly I couldn’t join - too tired. If you can’t sleep in a moving vehicle get enough food to snack and water, because it’s pretty expensive on the train. 200 baht for a Little snack. Bring a Powerbank, because there were no outlets. Hotels are below average, I'd have frankly paid more for a premium option if available. The accommodation was 1 to 3 star at best. No tubing or hiking options available at Khao Sok. Beam our leader is local (great!) , lovely person, very patient and looked after us well, however I would imagine a younger leader would have suited the energy of the group better. This tour is designed for travellers between the ages of 18-39. Normally we have travelers in their mid 20s to mid 30s. There is no International airport at the end point you would need to head back to Bangkok which can be done with the Bangkok express add on or you can book airfare from the domestic airport to Bangkok or other parts of Thailand.

Unfortunately there is an upper age limit of 39 and we are not able to make any exceptions. We declined the Laos tour as its also an 18-39 trip. No funds were taken from your card. Please look at our other travel styles.

We dont offer a single room supplement on this trip. A variety of styles of hotels/guest houses are used on this trip. In many instances they might not be like what you are used to back home as service and efficiency can vary. In some areas we stay in simple local guest houses in stunning locations - rooms are small and simple and there may only be shared toilet facilities and showers. Accommodation will be varied throughout your adventure. The majority of accommodation will have shared bathroom facilities.
