  I had an absolutely amazing experience on the Best of Greece / Taste of Greece tour! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and our guide truly made the trip unforgettable. He was very knowledgeable about Greek history, culture, and local traditions, and shared so many interesting stories that made each place come alive. He was also incredibly patient, approachable, and always made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. You could really see how much passion and love he has for his work — it showed in every detail and every stop along the way. The itinerary was well-balanced, giving us the perfect mix of sightseeing, relaxation, and fun local experiences. I truly appreciate all the effort and care that went into making this trip so memorable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Greece in a meaningful and enjoyable way.   We had an awesome tour of Greece thanks to our tour leader, Dimos. He exceeded our expectations. Dimos is highly experienced, knowledgeable about all our stops and excursions, familiar with great places to eat and things to do on our free days and a pleasure to travel with. He kept track of all the guests and ensured that our needs were met and stayed on schedule. Great trip and great leader.

  Dimos was an outstanding tour leader. He struck an excellent balance, being firm but fair with the schedule while always remaining attentive and responsive to the group's needs and interests. He is clearly knowledgeable and full of positive energy, which made the tour both informative and genuinely fun.

  Generally the tour was good value but blighted too often on archaeological sites by specialist guides embarking on detailed, academic commentaries which halted the group's timely progress through the entire site. Sights were left unseen and photo opportunities were therefore missed. Guides should ensure stops are brief and commentaries simplified but still informative - after all we are interested tourists, not university students. Our accessory of choice is a camera, not a voice recorder.

  I had never heard of Expat Explore Travel before, until I saw the offer on your site. Several of my fellow guests had done 2 or 3 tours with them, and now I know why. It was very well put together, and not too many early mornings either.

  Got to see important highlights of Greece in a very organized manner, awesome tour leader Matt, resolved an issue we had with our prebooked optional excursion, attended to everyone’s needs especially of the slower participants, Food was great, including most breakfast buffets. Some recommendations though… charging outlet or USB on the bus is a very helpful tool for travelers especially with all the photos and videos people take on trips. Yes we can always charge overnight at the hotels but sometimes it is not enough. Cell phones are the only way we can communicate with the leader and other tour members particularly when outside the city center. There were places where we would have preferred to stay for another night such as Nafplion or Olympia to see more of the place. Further, Is there ever a last dinner or “party” spent with all participants on the last day of the tour? We had wished there was one for us since we anda few others left - did not book for the island tours. Overall it was a fun and safe trip, thanks to our driver Taso. Thank you to you all!
