He was incredibly kind, attentive and funny, and made sure everyone was always comfortable and taken care of. On my last day, he helped me arrange my transportation to my next accommodation and ensured I got there. He was super informative and would give explanations about Thai culture and history, which I really appreciated. Although we saw many nice places on the tour, I think that my main highlight was having Scotty as our guide! He was such a positive presence, and I would definitely do another tour with him again! Overall, the trip was an amazing way to start my travels. I am solo travelling Southeast Asia for weeks and booked the trip to start off my journey. He cared about each and every one of us making sure we were all okay and having the best time !!!! He gave us really good advice before day trips. And was also good and conveying historical information at the temples. The energy he radiated around the group was superb too. I so wish I stayed for the full days tour it was honestly incredible. TruTravelsOperator•Written September 2025The closest airport is Koh Samui which is a 45 minute ferry ride away from Koh Phangan. Ferries run regularly. You will likely need to go through a hub city as there are no direct flights. Alternatively you can book a one way ticket back to Bangkok.

Travel Insurance is compulsory in order for you to travel on a TruTravels tour. Tour Radar do offer insurance which you can add on when making your booking. We do not send out detailed Itineraries but you can find the Itinerary on the Tour Radar platform. We are aimed at the 18-30 something market so you can expect your group to be a young, energetic group that like to have a good time! We can offer you a my own room option for an additional £455. Whilst on your your group leader will be on hand to offer any assistance.
