- JKJohn· May 29th, 2025We had an absolutely brilliant time on our vacation with you . Our guide Karliyn was the best , she was so well organized and had the patients of a saint . She was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble if you needed any help or information . Our driver Pascal was also wonderful . Not once did we feel unsafe with his driving . He also never ever complained about loading or unloading everyone's heavy suit cases . Based on our experience we would definitely recommend you to our family and friends . Well done and again thanks for making our vacation one to remember . All the best John and MicheleShow moreTrip date: May 2025
- RWRobert· May 27th, 2025Even though it was a fast paced tour (11 countries in 14 days), it was still a wonderful experience! Our tour guide (Karlijn) and driver (Pascal) made the journey the absolute best! If I could give 10 stars I would!Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- MZMarika· May 27th, 2025We had the trip of a lifetime when we took the Europe Jewel! Our driver Pascal truly helped make our experience what it was as he was a very calm and knowledgeable driver who never made us nervous. Our tour guide Karlijn was also super and helped the group bond as a unit. This trip is a very busy trip as you get to your location, spend the night and get up early to board the bus again but it was manageable. I would not hesitate to take this trip if it interests you!Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- HMHerman· May 27th, 2025Overall it was a great tour. Saw a lot of cities. Would have liked to spend more time in Vienna but other than that it was great. It was a lot to see and go, go, go but I enjoyed that aspect of it. It was cool waking up in a different city/country everyday.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- KMKatie· May 13th, 2025My tour guide Peter was incredible!!! I saw everything that I had hoped to see, and we had a very great group to travel with. Jeff, our driver, was very skilled and experienced at getting us where we needed to be, quickly! The hotels were not great, but they added to the minimal cost of this trip. The optional excursions I enjoyed immensely. They were reasonably priced, and highlighted the tourist focusses! I would recommend Expat to anyone looking for an amazing guided tour adventure!Show moreTrip date: April 2025

- PPat· November 10th, 2024Hello, This was our first bus trip in quite some time and we did enjoy it and we saw a lot. Some of the hotels were not that great and I would pay a little more knowing that the hotels were of higher grade. I do see now that you stipulate that they can range from 2 to 4 starts. The food was just okay and some of the options were not explained well. For example: One was outlined as a beef option that was stew like and was covered it cheese - it was shepherd's pie (ground beef) covered in mashed potato. A cheese cake option came out at a long sliver of cheese. The optionals could be explained a little better up front. For example: The evening in Montmartre for 50 euro did not include your transporation to get there if you did not go on the day time optional. This information was not fully understook until we got closer to the day and we had already paid. 50 euro each got us a dinner (not of our full choosing) and a metro ticket home. On the other side of things Coen was an excellent driver and as well as driving helped out wherever possible on the tours. Mika was also very good and did her best to keep control of the group and explain the extras, maybe her translations were a little weak at times but very inclusive of everyone and overall a good tour leader.Show moreExpat Explore Travel commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your feedback! Asked on April 29th, 2025Can I join this tour
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
At 85, you are welcome to join this tour as long as you are fully aware of the risks and the level of physical fitness that is required for this tour. We believe the best way to get to the heart and soul of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. Many of the cities you visit are vast and old, often with steps and cobblestones. Our walking tours can last up to 3 hours with plenty of opportunities to take photographs and soak up the history of these fascinating places, but you do require a certain level of fitness to enjoy your tour to its fullest.

Traveler•Written April 2025Type of clothing for countries we are going to for weather in May?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
It is expected that the countries visited on this tour in May will have weather that'll be mild and sunny, with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 22°C. Pack a mix of thin, breathable clothes for cooler evenings and warmer days, along with a lightweight, packable rain jacket. Focus on practical, comfortable pieces that you can mix and match.

Asked on April 19th, 2025I want to add greece in the end of the trip Europe jewel how to do that ?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
Is the Greece that you are referring to, another tour that we operate? Or you just wanted to extend the itinerary of the Europe Jewel Tour to include Greece at the end? If it is the latter, we are sad to share that we do not have the capacity to offer customizations to any of our existing tours.

Asked on April 19th, 2025What time does the tour officially start and end in Amsterdam? Do I need to pre-book optional activities, or can I decide while on the tour? Can you accommodate dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)? How long are the average driving days, and are there frequent rest stops? Is the coach air-conditioned and does it have Wi-Fi or charging ports? Are all hotels within city centers, or should I expect to stay outside of town? Where exactly do I meet the group in Amsterdam on Day 1? Who will I be meeting when I arrive? How can I get in touch with the group leader or tour rep if I have any issues finding the group on Day 1? Will the same group leader be with us from Amsterdam until the end of the tour, or do different guides join in different countries?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
The Tour Starts at 10AM on Day 1 and ends at around 7:30 PM on the last day. Both Locations will be in Amsterdam but the starting and drop off point (Hotel) is determined closer to the departure. All Optional Excursions for this tour does not require pre-booking and can be booked through the Tour Leader while on the tour and can be paid in Cash or via Credit/Debit Card. Yes, we cater to some Dietary Restrictions and Vegetarian and Gluten Free Meals are one of them. The driving times when moving from 1 place to another is around 3-4 Hours on Average with breaks in Rest Stops while a longer break is required for longer driving hours. Coaches have air conditioning but no Wifi, and not all hotels are located in City Centers. Our Team strategizes hotel locations that can add to the entire experience while on the tour and some maybe outside of the main city.
