- Anthony· September 18th, 2025This was a great way to explore a large portion of Europe in a short period of time. This means short visits to many cities and towns. There's not much time to explore the local culture and food; this is to be expected as the bus is on a tight schedule. It's exactly what my family wanted: a small taste of places we've never been to. Now we know where we would like to go back and where we don't need to visit again. Beware: this is not a vacation, this is a tour. We were on the bus by 7:15am each day and most days involved 3-4 hours of driving, with visits to roadside truck stops for bathroom breaks. Pack a neck pillow so you can sleep on the bus. There's no internet on the bus. Our driver (Wouter) and guide (Emma) were both excellent. Very friendly and great at their jobs. Thank you both for the great experience. The thing that kept this from being a 5-star review for me: Several of the included restaurants were mediocre. Pasta with tomato sauce mediocre. Especially the Swiss hotel - I didn't travel to Switzerland to have South African food. Overall we had much better food when we were allowed to pick our own restaurants and try local, albeit tourist-area, cuisine.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- DBDeborah· September 8th, 2025Good tour for the money. Tour director and coach driver were really good. I would have liked more info about our surroundings while riding on the coach. Most hotel rooms were ok. A couple had air conditioning problems and were extremely small.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

- RRRichard Dean· July 18th, 2025Most hotel accommodations were good. Food was mostly good. The itinerary was a bit taxing in that in many stops we were about 30 to 40 minute FAST paced walk to the location to meet a walking tour guide that was 1 -2 hours long. Very exhausting. The Switzerland stop was magical. The driver Coen was amazing.Show moreTrip date: July 2025

Asked on July 6th, 2025Are you able to provide details of hotels we are staying in for overnight in Prague, Swiss Alps and Paris (prior to 'free days') so that we can plan our free day activities. Also, is there anywhere we can find out more details of the optional extra tours in the various cities eg: cost / transport, experience etc
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
The final itinerary, which includes the confirmed hotel details will be shared in the Tour Leader Announcement (TLA). This will be automatically emailed to you within 10-5 days prior to departure. For more information about the optional excursions, including pricing, inclusions, and experiences, you can visit the Expat Explore website, search for your tour name, and scroll down to the Optional Excursion section. Most of these can be booked directly with the tour leader during the trip, and they'll also be happy to give more insight or recommendations while you're on tour.

Asked on June 8th, 2025Will that be cutting it too close? Also, is someone picking me up from the airport?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Although the Tour Starts at 10AM on Day 1, the good thing is that the itinerary for that day only covers Amsterdam. This means that even if customers arrive a bit later than 10AM on Day 1, they can easily catch up with the group after contacting the Tour Leader upon arrival. No, customers will have to make their way to the starting point or to where they can catch up with the tour if they cannot make the 10AM Meet Up.

Traveler•Written June 2025If I find a flight that gets in a different time that doesn't conflict with the tour starting time, will someone be picking me up from the airport? Meaning before the tour starts
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Regrettably, we can no longer assist with transfers. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation. If you prefer a transfer service, you can easily book through Welcome Pickups, a user-friendly platform with competitive prices.

You would need to make your way to the starting Lactation (Hotel in Amsterdam) at 10AM on August 14, 2025. The confirmed Hotel Name for the starting point is emailed to all customers 10-15 Days before the tour starts. The preferred airport in Amsterdam is the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS).
