- EEmily· August 1st, 2025This was a fast pace, well organized trip. We got to see major sites without the hassle of thinking about all the details. I would definitely recommend!Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- RRRichard Dean· July 18th, 2025Most hotel accommodations were good. Food was mostly good. The itinerary was a bit taxing in that in many stops we were about 30 to 40 minute FAST paced walk to the location to meet a walking tour guide that was 1 -2 hours long. Very exhausting. The Switzerland stop was magical. The driver Coen was amazing.Show moreTrip date: July 2025

Asked on June 8th, 2025Will that be cutting it too close? Also, is someone picking me up from the airport?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Although the Tour Starts at 10AM on Day 1, the good thing is that the itinerary for that day only covers Amsterdam. This means that even if customers arrive a bit later than 10AM on Day 1, they can easily catch up with the group after contacting the Tour Leader upon arrival. No, customers will have to make their way to the starting point or to where they can catch up with the tour if they cannot make the 10AM Meet Up.

Traveler•Written June 2025If I find a flight that gets in a different time that doesn't conflict with the tour starting time, will someone be picking me up from the airport? Meaning before the tour starts
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Regrettably, we can no longer assist with transfers. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation. If you prefer a transfer service, you can easily book through Welcome Pickups, a user-friendly platform with competitive prices.

Traveler•Written June 2025What airport would i fly in and out of? Will someone be picking me up from the airport? Also, what dates do i need to be there by? Should i get in august 13th to be safe?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
You would need to make your way to the starting Lactation (Hotel in Amsterdam) at 10AM on August 14, 2025. The confirmed Hotel Name for the starting point is emailed to all customers 10-15 Days before the tour starts. The preferred airport in Amsterdam is the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS).

Asked on June 4th, 2025Is tour guided or will we just be taken to different places? Can we modify to include a visit to Rome?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
We offer guided tours with a Tour Leader or Local Guide during City/Walking Tours. During Free Time, customers can explore on their own or join Optional Excursions. We do not offer customizations to our tour at this point.

Asked on June 1st, 2025Could you please provide a quote for 1 post-night accommodation in Amsterdam for from July 30-31? Additionally, can you share the list of hotels used on the tour and confirm whether airport transfers are included?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
We do not offer post-tour accommodation or airport transfers directly. However, you're welcome to book these separately. For accommodation options, we recommend checking Booking.com, where you can find a wide range of choices to suit your needs and preferences. The final list of confirmed accommodations along with all the tour details will be emailed to you 10–5 days prior to departure as part of your Tour Leader Announcement (TLA).

- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Regarding airport transfers, we're unable to assist directly at this time. However, public transportation is a convenient option. If you prefer a transfer service, you might check out Welcome Pickups, a user-friendly platform with competitive rates.

Traveler•Written May 2025I'm looking to book this tour for my parents. I'd prefer August, as they'll be in Europe from the 2nd week of August till 1st week of September.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
We unfortunately do not have availability for your enquired dates on the Europe Jewel tour. Would you perhaps be interested in having your parents join the Egypt Nile Jewel with 5* Boat Cruise, or any other tour?

Asked on May 26th, 2025Do I need to book hotel for the evening of July 23 in Amsterdam? The "Traveller Details" page I just completed seems to imply it is included and I do not need to book it. If I do need to book, what is the name and location of the hotel the tour starts from?

Traveler•Written May 2025What is the name and location of the hotel in Amsterdam where we will be completing the tour? I need to book an overnight stay for Wed Aug 6 as my plane will be departing the following day Aug 7.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Booking for July 23 – It's completely up to you if you wish to book a night before the tour begins. If your flight arrives the same day as the tour starts and you're confident you can make the 10:00 AM meeting time, then there's no need to book the night before. However, if you prefer a more relaxed start, booking an extra night can be a good idea.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam Arena Towers (same location for meeting and ending point). Address: Hoogoorddreef 66B, Building B, 1101 BE Amsterdam, Netherlands. Meeting Time: 10:00 AM on Day 1. Tour Ends: Approximately 7:30 PM on the last day (traffic dependent).

Asked on May 26th, 2025I am very interested in registering alone. However, I would like to know if we take ferries (because I don't like them) so confirm the means of transport during the trip please. Then I would like to have the approximate amount advised to have (apart from the plane and the trip itself) so for the activities and meals which are not included, how much do you advise?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
For this tour we do have a Canal Cruise on day. The means of transportation for this tour is by coach. We would recommend budgeting €25-€40 per day (this excludes optional excursions) and this will vary depending on how much you wish to spend on snacks, drinks, souvenirs, optional excursions etc.
