- DFDanielle· October 19th, 2025Rey, our Egypt guide was fabulous! So knowledgeable and passionate about his country. The tour was well set up and the itinerary was well suited. The Jordan part of the tour really needs work, far too much driving time and you were essentially only given 3 hours at the Petra site which is one of the main reasons why you go to Jordan. Our guide for Jordan was dispassionate and not engaging with our group, however the sites we saw were amazing! Overall, a great tour!Show moreTrip date: October 2025
- ASAnita· January 15th, 2025Timeless Egypt & Jordan was a really great experience. Mina (the guide for Egypt) was one of the best tour guides I've ever had - he was patient, very knowledgeable, and made an effort to ensure our group was getting along well. The actual tour itself was great, it made sure to cover the highlights of Egypt so it was very fast-paced, but definitely worthwhile. Our guide for Jordan, Gabriel, was also amazing and very knowledgeable about Jordan. All in all, it was a great trip!Show more

Christina· January 12th, 2025This is a great trip knowing that it is a group tour which involves long bus rides and waking up early. I would recommend this trip to those wanting to see all the highlights of Egypt and Jordan safely. For the extra activities, I would recommend Abu Simbel and the hot air balloon ride at Luxor. It’s a bit more expensive but make sure to book the sunrise hot air balloon ride. It is definitely worth it. Make sure to bring some $1,$5,$10USD to use. Not everyone takes the credit card. When exchanging your money to EGP or JD, avoid the airport. When you arrive at the hotel you will meet your tour guide, ask him where to exchange money. The rate will be better. For hotels, their star system is not the same as Canadian star system. Expect 3 star hotels. For food, you will be eating a lot at the hotels or buffets. You will get tired of it. Please remember that you don’t need to eat at the place your tour guide takes you. Leave the buffet and find a local restaurant nearby using google map. Not only will you save money but the food is so much better. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a flight from Cairo to Aswan. It will be worth it! And Aswan is nice so you get to have an extra night in Aswan. You could upgrade to the train instead but the train is loud and the bathroom is gross. For Day 4, ask if you can stay on the cruise ship instead of the felucca. The felucca is freezing and you will get eaten by mosquitos. And the bathroom in the felucca is disgusting. If I could change the itinerary of this trip, I would skip the last day in Cairo (day10) and go to Jordan. It would also be nicer if the flight from Cairo to Amman is earlier so you have more time in Amman (but this would be hard to control with airline schedule). With that extra day in Jordan, it would be nicer if we could stay overnight at Dead Sea enjoying the mud mask and floating. With the current itinerary, we only had 30min at the sea and felt rushed. The staff actually shut the water off so we couldn’t wash off the mud on our faces. Overall, this trip was one to remember.Show more

The tour guide made some changes to the itinerary based on the group. The tour guide was very good and knowledgeable in explaining all the sites we visited. The hotels we stayed were also very good. Overall it was a very good experience.Show more

Pawel· June 8th, 2024Very good tour would highly recommend. You get to see a lot in a very short amount of time. The only thing that could have been done better is more time at the pyramids. We were given an hour, maybe an hour and a half and told to just hang around the first pyramid and we would drive by the other two. The pyramids were whey I came to Egypt in the first place I don't want to drive by them and definitely want more time. Why wouldn't I go see the other ones if I am already there. With that being said that portion of it was very rushed, but there was so much more that was visited.Show more

Tin· April 26th, 2024Best guide! Explained the history thoroughly and made us all feel welcomed. Very accommodating of everyone’s requests too. One time, one of the tourists from our group left her luggage and Mina did his best to get it back. You’re in for a treat if you get him as your guide.Show moreTrip date: November 2023
Natalia· April 20th, 2024This was such an amazing experience. I was so nervous going to Egypt and Jordan but there was never a time I felt unsafe or uneasy. I will never forget the friendships I made and the memories that were created. Each day brought something exciting and unforgettable. Mina was the best tour guide I could have had ever asked for. The knowledge and humor he brought to the tour made it so much more special. The only bad part of the tour was saying goodbye to everyone I met. I could not pick a favorite day because it all was perfect and better than I could have ever imagined.Show more

Asked on May 25th, 2025I would like to know how much time we'll stay in the Dead Sea, cause it's one of the regions that I want to visit the most. Also I wanted to know what are the advantages of staying one more day en Amman.
Timeless Tours Operator•Written May 2025We would spend about 4-5 hours at the Dead Sea. Additionaly, you may choose to spend a night there and travel to Amman the following day, if you have an extra day in Amman. This could be arranged while on the tour.

Asked on May 7th, 2025Is Flight from Cairo to Amman included in this package or we need to book it seperately. If I need a additional day in cairo before tour what will be the price of it. Does this price include entrance fee to all monuments.

Traveler•Written May 2025Can travel with 9 year old? If Yes will there be special pricing for the kid?
Timeless Tours Operator•Written May 2025Yes. The flight from Cairo to Amman is included in the price. The additional night at the same hotel in Cairo costs USD $64 per person including the airport pick up one day before the tour starts. No, the price doesn't include the entrance fees to the sites. Your son is more than welcome to join this tour with you. However, please note that this tour includes an overnight stay on a traditional small sailing boat- Nile Felucca, that has no private rooms nor proper bathroom. Everyone sleeps side by side using mattresses and blankets, besides it has a basic toilet. If You are oaky with that you are more than welcome to book this tour. I'm afraid there is no extra discount for 9 years old children.

Asked on March 10th, 2025On Day 4 us the Felucca Cruise with the optional extra of a trip to Abu Simbel. It looks like the cruise is only one day, so would the trip be in place of the cruise, or is this an additional day trip?
Timeless Tours Operator•Written March 2025The optional trip of Abu Simbel takes place at about 3:30 am on day 4 of the tour and finishes at about 2pm. We would board the Nile Felucca right after retuning to Aswan and spend the night on board.

Asked on March 3rd, 2025I am looking at booking the tour on 26th April, and had a couple of questions beforehand. I wanted to check that I would definitely be part of a group? And if so, might there be another solo traveller in the same position as me who might like to share a room? I also wanted to check that the majority of the sites and activities are included? I saw that Abu simbel wasn't for example, but the others are? And with things like the extra entrance for Abu simple and the hot air balloon ride, do they have to be booked/paid for in advance, or can I decide while I am out there?
Timeless Tours Operator•Written March 2025We are very excited to hear from you! I assure you that you will be a part of a group. The 26th April departure is a guaranteed departure. However, the single room supplement in mandatory for solo travelers booking this tour. You could book the tour with the single room supplement. If there is any solo female traveler who would prefer to share a twin room with anther solo traveler, I will let you know and will refund the single room supplement to you. The tour includes guided visits to all the sites stated in the tour itinerary. But, please note that the entry tickets to all the sites aren't included in the tour price. Abu Simbel tour is an optional excursion available on day 4 of the tour. Although this temple is a one of a kind and it's one of the must see places, but due to it's starting time at 3:30am we preferred to keep it as an optional excursion. All the optional excursions don't need to be booked in advance. You could book any of these optional excursions while on tour.

Timeless Tours Operator•Written February 2025You could obtain both visas to Egypt and Jordan on arrival. For Egypt it costs USD $25. For Jordan you could purchase the 'Wanderer' Jordan pass via the official Jordan pass website, that would cover the entry tickets to historical sites in Jordan and a free entry visa.
