- SZS· December 3rd, 201717 days Galapagos and Inca trail adventure. In my opinion that tour is overpriced and poorly organised. Accommodation was very basic and at some places just awful, mostly Galapagos islands. Tour guide allocating the best rooms to a specific group of travellers. To many air flights, some of them totally unnecessary. Customers that booked a train option on Inca tail are just overthought for Intrepid. They are concentrating on people who booked trekking so people with the train option just have to do with activities around trekkers - going to the town where trekkers need to be, coming back to Cusco, then going back to the same town just 2 nights later because now it is our turn to go to Machu Picchu. Tipping pushed so excessively. Fair enough to tip a bus driver who was with the group for the whole day or entire trip. But tipping every bus driver who was on the bus for 2 hours! A bit too much. Included meals are very basic as well. I won't be making another booking with Intrepid, that is for sureShow moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHello, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us.
