- CNColeen· January 30th, 2019Khensani was great and definitely managed the overall team and tour. A couple of recommendations - the tour should review the condition of some of the camps to assess their services (e.g. a couple of times there was not hot water/showers available) to see if they are still in good repair and clean. The farm stay proved to be awkward and difficult and some of the guests were uncomfortable with the atmosphere - I would recommend changing this stop. The stay and tour in the Delta - including the guides operating in the concession - and Soweto were absolute highlights. Zimbabwe and Victoria falls were also great!! If there is some way to break up the long drive to Soweto from the Rhino sanctuary (maybe another stop) that would be helpful. Re-working the meal plan to include snacks (if not lunch) on the travel days would have made us more comfortable. I'm concerned about the fact the driver was not able to drive for the last 2 days - Khen was great but it put him a difficult position.Show moreTrip date: December 2018

This trip includes a mixture camping, hotels, lodges and permanent tents. While camping, tents, sleeping mats and sleeping bags will be provided and the crew & camp hands will set these up for you. Hotel (3 nights), Lodge (1 night), Meru Tent (1 night), Permanent Tented Overland Camp (2 night), Camping with facilities (5 nights), Basic Camping with no facilities (2 nights), Guesthouse (1 night). There may be the occasional night stop, when we stay in the grounds of a hotel or at a campsite which may also have rooms/cabins available. In this case there may be a choice of camping or upgrading to a room. Rooms cost between approximately USD60-120 per room per night for a twin room and cannot be pre-booked.
