The tour was small - around 12 people and the tour guide, Joe, was fantastic. The group gelled together really well and we benefited from Joe's knowledge and easy going nature. - KGKeith· April 15th, 2025Joel & The Bindlestiff team put together a memorable, informative and most enjoyable 3 day tour of the canyons. The time in the vehicle between the canyons and stops may have been long but Joel made sure we had enough rest stops to stretch our legs. He used the time in vehicle to share his wealth of knowledge and experience of the area and we felt it added significantly to the experience. It is alot of driving but completely worth it to see the spectacular sights. The accommodations booked for each night were more than comfortable, with great amenities and close proximity to resturants for the evening meal. The staff at each hotel were friendly and happy to help in any way. (my son left a parcel at our 1st hotel and due to the distances we travel, we could not return to collect it, but the hotel made a plan and sent it to our final desitination before flying home). The food was plenty and very tasty, the stand out lunch was definately the fry bread taco at Goulding's Stage Couch diner. The itinerary was amazing and covered everything and so much more. The stop for lunch on day 1 in Seligman and the historic Route 66 was fantastic. Having conversations with the townfolk (super friendly) and walking the streets was very enjoyable and so many opportunities for photos. We did the optional Helicopter ride and would highly recommend it to give you a view of the Grand Canyon that is unparalleled. That 1st sight of the Grand Canyon takes your breath away. The sunrise on day 2 from the north rim of the Grand Canyon was emotional and breathtaking. As you drive with a guide through the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park later that day, you are transported back in time and Stephen our guide brought its history and people to life. Ending the day with sunset at Horshoe Bend gave me goosbumps and stunning photos, along with significant memories made. One of the highlights was walking through Antelope Canyon with our guide on the morning of day 3, it was mesmerising and we were awestruck by its beauty. The time spent in Zion National Park was exhilarating, we enjoyed lunch and then hiked to the Emerald Pools all the while enjoying the majestic mountains surrounding us. Photos do not fully capture the grandure and the majesty of Zion Canyon. All the while, Joel is exoanding our knowledge and minds with information about all the places we visted or even just drove past. Hogan was a great guide - friendly, approachable, helpful. The absolute highlight of this trip was Antelope Canyon. It was magical beyond words. Then Monument Valley, also within the Navajo (Dine) Nation was incredible. Another highlight was morning at the Watchtower at the Grand Canyon - ours were the first steps in the overnight snow dusting, and the morning was magical. Bindlestiff had set up solid accommodations, great lunches, support of local businesses, suggested good hikes, and arranged for terrific side tours. Hogan's commentary and driving were exemplary. A little colder than I expected but I still had an awesome and fabulous time. I regretted I did not take the helicopter tour for the Grand canyon. Zion is also beautiful do anticipate the shuttle bus ride that theres a lot people and could take you up more time as theres very long line up. Antelope canyon was my highlight for this tour its incredibly beautiful. Take the Navajo guided tour- you won't regret it. Hogan was very patient with us and very informative. - AQAngeli· April 2nd, 2024I cannot recommend this trip enough. It was the best I've ever been on! Bindlestiff took us to so many places and saw so much and yet, it didn't feel rushed at all. The magnitude of National and State parks that we covered was remarkable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in each. The group was very small- only 6 people. As a solo traveler, this was perfect because it allowed us to get to know each other and the friendly vibes felt so natural (no loneliness here!) Besides the sights, the obvious best thing about this trip was our guide, Joseph. He was the perfect balance of knowledgeable and fun, always making every effort to answer our questions, provide his own anecdotes and accommodate any of our special requests or preferences. Joseph is incredible and a true professional. The accomodation throughout the trip was excellent- all my needs were met and exceeded. Most hotels provided breakfast and, in the few incidences that they didn't, readily accessible alternatives were available. At first, I was concerned that picnic lunches would reduce the amount of time that we had to explore the sights. This wasn't the case at all. Joseph ensured that all lunches were well-catered and smoothly run. Originally, I'd planned to organize and self-navigate a trip similar to this all by myself. I am extremely glad that this plan didn't work out. Bindlestiff is an amazing company. If you are on the fence about booking this trip, don't be! We do not help with pre- or post-accommodations. Pick up and drop off is only at the Palms hotel. There are plenty of taxis and share rides to get from hotel to hotel.

Your tour departs from the Palms Casino coach loading curb located at: Palms Casino, 4321 W Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89103. The pickup time is 7.00am. As you exit the main front entrance, turn right and follow the footpath to the east side of the building on Hugh Hefner Drive (past the Palms pool). It's a 4 minute walk to the curb. The tour returns to the same place on day 3 at approx 7pm.

Optional helicopter flights over the Grand Canyon are: $269USD per person for a 25-minute flight, $399USD per person for a 45-minute flight. Clients board state of the art helicopter. Guests that do not take part in the helicopter tour hike the rim of the Grand Canyon.
