Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape St. Vincent - Albufeira
Start early and head south across the Tagus River bridge toward the Algarve. Once there, you'll walk through Lagos, a historic port city with old walls and a charming center worth exploring on foot. From there, head to Cape St. Vincent, continental Europe's westernmost point, which offers dramatic coastal views. Stop at Sagres fortress, an important historic site perched on the cliffs. Later, continue to Albufeira where you can either relax on the beaches or walk around the lively historic center before the day ends.

- Day 2
Mértola - Évora - Lisbon
Travel to Faro and take a leisurely walk through the Algarve's capital city. Then head inland into the Alentejo region to visit Mértola, a walled town-museum sitting on the Guadiana River with a castle and whitewashed houses from the Muslim era. Continue to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city where you'll see medieval palaces, Gothic religious buildings, and a Roman temple. The Chapel of Bones is included (admission covered), and you'll explore this historic area before traveling to Lisbon, arriving later in the evening.
