- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. Your guide meets you later with trip details and answers to any questions. By evening, head over to Via Cavour where there's a good range of restaurants. You can try Italian food, Indian, Chinese, or international options depending on what sounds good.

- Day 2
Rome
This morning starts with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome with a bus ride for the bigger sights. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour wraps up at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. Later you're transferred to Trastevere for dinner, heading back to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.

- Day 3
Rome to Florence
You'll leave Rome early and drive north through rolling countryside toward Florence. Once you arrive, head up to Piazzale Michelangelo first thing to take in the views across the city and the Arno valley. From there, walk down into the historic center where you'll grab lunch at a local spot. After eating, a local guide meets you for a walking tour hitting the main landmarks including Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo with its distinctive dome, and Piazza della Signoria where you can see the statues and palazzo. The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander around on your own and explore neighborhoods that caught your eye. By evening, you'll head to dinner at one of the many restaurants throughout the city center, so you've got plenty of options depending on what sounds good.

- Day 4
Florence to Venice
Travel north across the Apennines mountain landscapes toward Venice. Once you arrive, take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach the island. With a local guide, you'll see St. Mark's Square and tour the Murano Glass Factory to watch traditional glass-making. You'll have time to walk around on your own before the day ends in the Mestre district where you're staying for the night.

- Day 5
Venice to Zurich
Leave Venice and head through scenic terrain, crossing the Apennines as you travel toward Austria. Stop in Innsbruck to look around the historic town center and grab lunch. From there, continue through Tyrolean mountain scenery and cross into Switzerland, arriving in Zurich by evening.

- Day 6
Zurich to Interlaken - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich
Start in the Interlaken region with a coffee stop in Grindelwald. Take a cable car up the mountain and walk along a winding path to a suspended bridge. If you're up for it, you can cross the bridge for glacier views. Lunch is included up on the mountain. After that, head to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's more beautiful cities, with time to check out the charming streets and buildings before returning to Zurich.
