- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and check into your hotel. The afternoon is yours to settle in and relax after your journey. Stop by the hotel reception to pick up information about when the tour officially starts.

- Day 2
Athens
A guided tour takes you through Athens starting with the Presidential Mansion and the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games happened back in 1896. You'll see the National Library and main city squares, then walk through neighborhoods built after the 2004 Olympics before heading to the Acropolis. Later, head to Plaka for dinner at one of the traditional tavernas tucked into those narrow streets.

- Day 3
Athens - Tripoli - Olympia - Patras
Travel to the Peloponnese with a quick stop at the Corinth Canal to take in this engineering feat. After reaching Tripoli, explore Aeros Square before heading to Olympia with a local guide showing you the Temple of Zeus, the ancient Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. Continue to Patras to see the medieval fortress and Greece's largest cathedral. Dinner is included.

- Day 4
Patras - Igoumenitsa - Brindisi
Cross the Rio-Antirrio Bridge connecting the Peloponnese to mainland Greece. The drive takes you through Central Greece and Epirus to Igoumenitsa, a port town where you'll have time to walk around before boarding the ferry at 2:00 PM. You'll sail across the Ionian Sea to Brindisi, Italy, arriving around 9:00 PM.

- Day 5
Brindisi - Alberobello - Matera - Naples
Visit Alberobello to see the distinctive cone-shaped trulli houses that earned it UNESCO status. Continue to Matera where you'll explore the Sassi, an ancient settlement carved into rock faces that's been inhabited for thousands of years. Lunch is included here, then you'll drive through Basilicata and Campania's mountain terrain before reaching Naples.

- Day 6
Naples - Capri - Sorrento - Salerno
Take the ferry from Naples to Capri and ride the funicular up to the town for views across the coastline and time to walk around. After lunch, sail to Sorrento, a clifftop town where you can spend the afternoon on your own. Then continue to the Gulf of Salerno and check into your accommodation in Salerno.

- Day 7
Salerno - Paola - Messina - Taormina
Travel south through Italian scenery and Cilento National Park. Stop in Paola on the Tyrrhenian Sea to visit the Sanctuary of St. Francis of Paola and browse the historic center. Later, head to Villa San Giovanni for a short ferry crossing to Sicily and Messina, where you'll walk around near the cathedral before heading to Taormina. Dinner is included.

Start early in Taormina and head to Giardini Naxos, Sicily's first Greek settlement from 734 B.C., to walk the seafront and beaches. Back in Taormina, explore the old town and the famous Greek Theater overlooking the coast. After lunch, visit the Roman Villa of Casale to see the remarkable 4th-century mosaics. The drive takes you through Sicily's interior mountains to Palermo. Dinner is included.

A local guide leads you through Palermo's highlights, starting with the cathedral known for its mix of architectural styles and royal tombs inside. You'll see Palazzo dei Normanni, a former royal palace with fountains, markets, and gardens surrounding it. Then visit Monreale cathedral, a UNESCO site famous for its golden mosaics covering the interior walls. The rest of the afternoon is free for your own exploration.
