Darwin
You'll arrive in Darwin and settle into your hotel with views over Darwin Harbour. The city has a relaxed feel despite its intense history with cyclones and wartime bombing. After getting settled, you'll join everyone for a welcome dinner.

Darwin
This is a choice day for you in Darwin. Jump crocodiles on Adelaide River and see Fogg Dam wetlands, or head to Litchfield National Park to check out waterfalls and vine forests. You could also do a hop-on-hop-off tour of Darwin's main sights or take a harbour cruise to learn about the WWII bombing history.

Darwin to Kakadu National Park
Early on you'll travel to Kakadu National Park, a World Heritage site that spans 20,000 square kilometres with 65,000 years of cultural history. See ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock, stop at Bowali Visitors Centre, then take a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong where crocodiles, water buffalo, and birds are all around you. You'll stay overnight at a retreat inside the park with a pool and restaurant.

Kakadu National Park to Katherine
You'll fly over Jim Jim and Twin Falls by fixed-wing aircraft to see the wetlands and rocky terrain from above. After that, you're heading to Katherine, known as the Crossroads of the North. Spend time in Nitmiluk National Park exploring Katherine Gorge with its tall sandstone cliffs and rock art. Later you'll take a dinner cruise through the gorge to see the red ochre walls and hear stories from the local Jawoyn people.

Katherine to Kununurra
You'll travel to Kununurra, a town founded in the early 1960s when the Ord River Dam project started. It's surrounded by lakes, waterfalls, and rivers with good fishing. A local Indigenous guide will help you learn about Miriuwung country and how Mirima National Parks were set up in the 1980s to protect natural sites and cultural areas. You'll stay two nights here.

Kununurra
From Kununurra, you'll take a cruise on the Ord River, which flows over 650 kilometres and is home to more than 75 bird species. The gorge walls along the water are impressive. Then you visit Lake Argyle, one of the largest man-made lakes in the Southern Hemisphere with over 70 islands and lots of native wildlife. In the afternoon, you'll have tea and a tour at Hoochery Distillery to see how they make tropical gins and rums.

Kununurra to El Questro Wilderness Park
You'll visit the first Aboriginal-owned art centre in Western Australia. Then you're off along the Gibb River Road to El Questro Wilderness Park in the Kimberley landscape. El Questro used to be a working cattle station but now spans 700,000 acres with thermal springs, waterfalls, gorges, and ranges. You're staying two nights here with special accommodation and amenities.

At El Questro you have several options. Take a cruise through Chamberlain Gorge under towering cliffs, explore the station's history and learn about Aboriginal bush tucker and legends, or get insights into Ngarinyin culture with ancient healing practices. By evening, you'll relax with sunset drinks at the Station Airstrip with views over the Cockburn Ranges.

You'll fly from Kununurra to Broome, known as the jewel of the Kimberley. This tropical coastal city blends Indonesian, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese, and European influences with local First Nations culture. After arriving, you'll take a cruise on the Ballena catamaran along Broome's coastline.

Broome
Broome offers several activity choices. Learn how Australian South Sea Pearls are made at Willie Creek Pearl Farm with a tour and cruise. Tour Broome on a Harley Davidson Trike to hear about the town's history. Join Robert Dann for a cultural experience exploring 40,000 years of Broome and Kimberley culture with Aboriginal stories. Or take a one-hour camel ride along Cable Beach with Indian Ocean views.

You have time to experience Broome however you'd like. The town has world-class diving in turquoise waters, craft breweries, and those iconic camel rides on Cable Beach. An optional seaplane flight over Horizontal Falls is available if you want an aerial view of this natural wonder.
