Itinerary
- Day 1
Anchorage to Seward
You'll meet your group in Anchorage and drive south along the Seward Highway, which follows the coast and offers great views. In Girdwood, there's an included ride on the Alyeska Tram that takes you up for panoramic sightings over the area. After that, you'll stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see rescued animals like bears, moose, and musk oxen. Then it's on to Seward, arriving by late afternoon to settle into your waterfront hotel (roughly 4 hours of driving total from Anchorage).

- Day 2
Seward
This morning you'll board a half-day cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. The boat heads into deep fjords where you'll see tidewater glaciers and have chances to spot whales, sea otters, puffins, and harbor seals (conditions vary). You return to port by afternoon, and then the rest of the day is yours to walk around Seward, grab lunch, or check out shops along the harbor.

- Day 3
Seward to Majestic Valley
After breakfast, you'll take a guided walk to the base of Exit Glacier. There's a shorter interpretive route or a longer trail option if you want to head higher toward Marmot Meadows. You'll have a picnic lunch at the glacier, then drive north through forested valleys and over mountain passes. By evening you arrive at Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge, positioned in a remote backcountry setting (the drive from Seward is about 5 hours).

- Day 4
Matanuska Valley to Denali
You'll travel through Hatcher Pass on winding roads that go up into tundra meadows and alpine terrain. Next, there's a stop at Independence Mine Historical Park where you can walk around old buildings and mine tunnels from Alaska's gold rush days. After a picnic lunch, the drive continues toward the Denali area. You'll check into Creekside cabins later that afternoon (roughly 6 hours of driving from the lodge).

- Day 5
Denali National Park
This is a full day in Denali National Park. You'll board a park bus early and travel deep into the wilderness on roads that wind through braided rivers and open tundra. If weather cooperates, you'll see Denali (North America's highest peak at 20,310 feet). The bus route takes you through habitat where grizzly bears, dall sheep, moose, caribou, and golden eagles live. You'll return to the park entrance by late afternoon.

- Day 6
Denali to Anchorage
After leaving Denali, you'll drive to Talkeetna, a small mountain town with galleries, local shops, and trails along the river. A picnic lunch is included, and you'll have free time to explore. Later you'll board the Alaska Railroad for a 3-hour trip back to Anchorage. The train passes through forests and valleys, and you'll see the Susitna River valley and glaciers along the way. You should arrive in Anchorage between 8-9 PM to end your trip.
