Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales
You'll arrive in Punta Arenas and catch a 3-hour bus to Puerto Natales. Once at the bus terminal, a transfer takes you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to wander around this Patagonian town and get your bearings.

Puerto Natales
This day involves a full trek with two different access points to Torres del Paine National Park. You'll start from Lago Sarmiento gate where you can see the massive lake, then find ancient rock paintings over 6,000 years old along the route. The hike takes you to Portería Laguna Amarga, and during the trek you might spot guanacos, foxes, and condors. You'll be back in Puerto Natales by evening.

Torres del Paine National Park
Head out early for a full day driving through Torres del Paine National Park. You'll stop at Villa Cerro Castillo and hit several viewpoints like Sarmiento Lake, Laguna Amarga, Nordenskjöld Lake, Salto Grande, Pehoé Lake, and Grey Lake. Before heading back to Puerto Natales, you'll visit Milodon Cave Natural Monument to see the geological formations there.

- Day 4
Torres del Paine Base Trek
This is the challenging 9-hour trek that covers about 24 km to reach the base of the famous Torres del Paine towers. You'll move through forests, cross rivers, and navigate rocky ground while climbing to Paso de los Vientos. After passing Refugio Chileno and crossing the Ascensio River several times, the final stretch is steep and exposed. Once you reach the towers for lunch, you'll head back using the same route.

Head to the Puerto Natales bus terminal for your 3-hour return journey to Punta Arenas. The bus takes you directly to the airport, so let the driver know you're getting off there when you board.
