- Day 1Ho Chi Minh CityYou'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Before dinner, there's a group meeting at 5 pm where you'll meet everyone. After that, you'll have a welcome dinner featuring local Vietnamese cuisine to get things started. - Meals

- Day 2Mekong DeltaA private minibus takes you south to the Mekong Delta. You'll board a boat and cruise through the waterways, stopping at coconut gardens to sample tropical fruits and jams. Later you'll paddle sampans through villages and take a tuk-tuk ride to see how people live out here. Lunch happens with a local family, then you head back to Ho Chi Minh City by bus. - Meals

- Day 3Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi AnFlying north to Danang, you then transfer to Hoi An, which is on the UNESCO list. Your group leader walks you through the Old Quarter so you can see the architecture and lanterns along the river. You'll work with a local artisan to make your own lantern as a souvenir. Dinner is in town afterward. - Meals

- Day 5Hoi AnThis day is completely free to explore on your own. You can walk through the Old Town shops and look for souvenirs like paintings or ceramics, or visit tailors for custom clothing. If you want something structured, you can arrange a cooking class with a boat ride and farm visit. Otherwise, spend time at the beach or relax. - Day 6Hoi An to HueAfter breakfast, your minibus heads toward Hue by driving past coastal rice paddies and over the Hai Van Pass with mountain views. Once there, you'll have free time to rest. Later you'll take a cyclo tour through the citadel, the local market, and Ho Chi Minh's house. Dinner is home-cooked with a local family. - Meals

- Day 7HueYou'll see Hue's imperial sites, starting with the Imperial Citadel which is the best-preserved fortress from the royal center. From there, you explore the Forbidden Purple City and see bomb craters from 1968 that show the war's impact. By evening, you board an overnight train to Hanoi. - Day 8HanoiThe train pulls into Hanoi early morning, so you'll have free time to rest. Later you visit Vun Art, a social enterprise that helps people with disabilities through job training. - Day 9HanoiStart with the Museum of Ethnology to learn about Vietnam's different ethnic groups. Then walk through the Temple of Literature before grabbing lunch at KOTO restaurant, which supports underprivileged youth through hospitality training and work. - Meals

- Day 10Hanoi to Halong BayA minibus ride takes you about 4 hours to Halong Bay, a UNESCO site with around 2,000 limestone islands. You'll board your private boat and cruise past the dramatic limestone peaks, then swim in the East Sea and explore caves with stalactites. You'll sleep on the boat under the stars. - Day 11Halong Bay to HanoiBreakfast happens on the boat. There's an optional early morning kayak tour if you want to paddle around the limestone formations and junk boats.
