It would also be advisable to adjust the age of the participants. At temperatures of 40° C, accommodation in tent camps without air conditioning can be a health hazard.Show more
- Joost· May 23rd, 2025Very interesting trip with guide versed in history. In a short time we were able to visit the main cultural highlights. The hotels were of excellent quality, with extensive choice wb restoration. Although it should be mentioned that El Mouradi Sousse is in dire need of an upgrade (e.g. worn carpets). At the latter there is also only wifi in the lobby and bar, which today is standard in the rooms.Show more
- Anja· March 24th, 2025The itinerary and the organization were excellent! The hotels were also good (only the Hotel El Mouradi Port El Kantaoui unfortunately left something to be desired). Unfortunately, our tour guide was not very satisfactory. His German was barely understandable (I would have preferred understandable English rather than incomprehensible German), his explanations were sparse and you often had to ask for clarification. He often gave the explanations in a bus that was too loud. He also literally rushed us through the tour. We were always "under stress". He was constantly urging us to "go on, go on". At souks and markets, we were forbidden to buy anything so as not to lose any time. We were always back at the hotel 2 hours before dinner. We got the impression that the tour guide wanted to finish work on time. He also often treated us like little children. He forbade us to take 2 steps off the path and constantly complained if a guest lingered a little longer to take a photo or read something. Last but not least, his organization was poor. I had no information where we were meeting on the first day and had to proactively look for the tour guide at the hotel and call him to find out when we were leaving. On the following days we never knew what we were doing, whether we needed water or sturdy shoes and how long we would be visiting a sight (anything between 5 minutes and 2 hours was possible).Show more
