We decided on the Adriatic Pearls itinerary because it made sense to visit Venice and then places in Istria and down the Dalmatian coast that had been ruled by Venetians. We also liked that the last day would be a free day. As it turned out, my husband and I were the only two people who had booked this tour, which not only allowed us flexibility with the itinerary, but a delightful and informative connection to Dejan, our terrific guide and driver from Venice to Dubrovnik. Dejan made the trip so easy, interesting and wonderful in so many ways!!! The trip offered us new information about a part of the world that had been unfamiliar to us, an opportunity to enjoy beautiful coastal towns, hiking in the incredible Plitvice National Park, delicious food, and exquisite hotel stays. This was truly a memorable trip!! The tour operator, Palma, did a great job communicating with us from the time we booked the trip to the final day. Kristina was so patient with all our questions and she insured that everything went smoothly. Palma had also chosen personable and very informative guides in Venice, Split and Dubrovnik. Book this tour, request Dejan, and you’ll have a memorable experience!!!Show more
- Kangping· May 3rd, 2025For the most part, we were very pleased with the tour. Christina was great to work with. We modified the trip a little to better suit our needs. The guides were quite good, as were the drivers. The hotels were also fine and we liked the buffet breakfasts. Dubrovnik, Split, Plitvice Lakes, and Zagreb are all worth seeing. We decided to have one more day in Split and one more day in Dubrovnik and one less day in Zagreb. One issue prevented me from giving this a five star review. The drivers were prompt every day except the day we were leaving for the airport. There was a mixup with the time the driver picked us up. He did not come at the scheduled time and we could not get hold of Christina. We ended up getting a taxi on our own. Tour Radar did compensate us or this, but it did cause us some stress.Show more

PALMA DMC & TO Operator•Written July 2024Yes its an escorted tour with a tour guide who will also be driving you around. The vehicles are comfortable and have air condition. The vehicle type is determined closer to your trip date but its usually also comfortable for older persons.

Maybe The Great Balkan Experience tour would be more suitable for you since it covers 15 days as opposed to this one that is 22 days?

Asked on July 3rd, 2024We like this tour itinerary and the 4* accomodation that you promise - for the most part. We dont want to spend so many days in Slovenia - max 2 days. Is there an option for us to end this tour in Zagreb and skip the Slovenia portion for a lower price? Or, do you have an alternate tour that covers similar locations in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro?

We can make amendments to your tour but it will have to be a private tour which in the end will be more costly. Another option would be for you to switch to the Great Balkan experience tour which does not include Slovenia but as a private tour. The great balkan experience private option is 14.200 euros for 2 people as a private tour. Sightseeing tours included: Zagreb, Novi sad, Belgrade, Skopje, Ohrid, Tirana, Podgorica, Kotor, Budva, Dubrovnik, Mostar, Sarajevo, Split, Pltivice National park. The price includes: All transfers as per itinerary, English speaking tour leader, Accommodation in 4* hotels on BB basis, 8 × lunch, 1× farewell dinner, Entrance to Kalemegdan fortress, Entrance to Plitvice NP, Entrance to Diocletian palace, Entrance to Rector's palace, Tourist tax

The type of transport depends on the group size, we use either a minivan or a bus. There is no maximum number of people on our tours, however, they normally stay small, under 7 passengers.
