Itinerary
- Day 1
Cancun
Your tour starts when you arrive at Cancun International Airport, where your representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like, so you can walk around and get a feel for the area at your own pace.

Valladolid
You'll head out to Rio Lagartos Biosphere Reserve for a two-hour boat trip through mangrove estuaries where you can spot flamingos, crocodiles, and around 400 bird species. After that, you'll try a Maya mud bath and swim in the salt-rich lagoon, then visit a cenote for a refreshing dip. From there, you'll transfer to Valladolid for a walking tour of this historic Maya city before checking into your hotel.

Izamal - Merida
After breakfast, you'll travel to Chichen Itza, one of the most important Maya archaeological sites in the region. You'll walk through the Temple of Kukulkan (El Castillo), the Great Ball Court, Skull Platform, Sacred Cenote, Temple of the Warriors, and other well-preserved structures. Later, you'll head to the colonial Maya town of Izamal to see the Convent of St. Anthony of Padua, which was built on top of a former Maya pyramid. Then you'll continue on to Merida for a historical city tour that includes 19th-century villas along Paseo de Montejo, Plaza Grande, the cathedral, Casa de los Montejo, and government buildings.

Uxmal
You'll have breakfast at your hotel, then head to Uxmal, a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. There you'll explore the 35-metre-tall Pyramid of the Magician, the remarkably preserved Nunnery Quadrangle, the Governor's Palace, and the Great Pyramid (which has only one side excavated). Next, you'll visit a Cocoa Museum to learn about how important the plant was to ancient Mayans.

Merida to Cancun
You'll have breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to Merida Teya station to board the modern, air-conditioned Maya Train heading toward Cancun Airport. During the journey, you'll get scenic views of the Yucatan Peninsula, including dense jungles, cenotes, and traditional villages, making it a comfortable and relaxing way to end your trip.
