Bucharest
Your driver meets you at Bucharest Otopeni Airport for the transfer to your hotel. Once you've checked in and settled, head out to explore Old Town on a short walking tour. It's a good way to get your bearings and see the historic architecture of the city before your evening.

Bucharest to Danube Delta
After breakfast, drive 3.5 hours to Tulcea, then board a 1-hour boat to reach Crisan village. Later that afternoon, you'll take a half-day boat cruise through the Danube Delta. Watch for birds and wildlife as you travel through Europe's largest natural wetland, and stay on the water until sunset. The night is spent in Crisan Village.

Danube Delta to Buzau
This morning includes a 4-hour private guided tour of the Danube Delta. You'll visit Mila 23 village and Caraorman Forest, seeing how the waterways and forests connect. After returning to Tulcea, the drive back takes about 3 hours to reach your hotel in Buzau by evening.

Buzau to Bran
Start with breakfast, then head to the Muddy Volcanoes to see this unusual geological site. Next comes a wine tasting at Lacerta winery where you'll sample 3 different wines. From there, drive to Peles Castle and then to Bran Castle, which you've likely heard about for its Dracula connection. You'll stay overnight in the Bran area.

Bran to Porumbacu de Sus
Drive 30 minutes to Bear Sanctuary for a 1-hour guided walk among the rescued bears. After that, head up to Rasnov Fortress in the Carpathian Mountains for views across the valleys. Later, get to Brasov to walk around Council Square and see the Black Church. Before ending the day, visit Prejmer to check out the Fortified Church, a UNESCO site that's one of the best preserved. Your hotel in Porumbacu de Sus is about 1 hour 45 minutes away.

Porumbacu de Sus to Bucharest
Today you'll drive the Transfagarasan road, an alpine route open only during summer months. The winding mountain road offers big valley views as you go. Along the way, stop at Clay Castle, Vidraru Dam, Poienari Fortress, and Curtea de Arges Monastery. By evening you're back in Bucharest, heading to your hotel to rest after a long day on the roads.
