Lisbon
Start in Lisbon's historic quarters and walk through the old neighborhoods that hold the city's character. You'll head to Belem, where centuries of maritime history are on display through monuments and architecture. The Maritime Museum gives you insight into Portugal's seafaring past, and entry's included with the tour. Grab some traditional pastries while you're there, then make your way to see the Lisbon bridge, which rises dramatically across the Tagus River. The whole day combines history and local flavor without feeling rushed.

Cascais
After heading to Sintra, you'll visit two of the five iconic palaces that draw people here. The exotic gardens are worth taking time to walk through, and the unique microclimate that made Sintra a royal retreat becomes clear once you're there. Later you'll travel along the coast toward Europe's westernmost point, then finish in Cascais, a coastal town that offers a different pace from the palace grounds. The varied terrain and views make this a day of transitions, each area bringing something different.

Evora
Begin at a cork factory to see how cork transforms from raw material into finished product, then head to Ervideira Winery for wine tasting with local reds and whites. The afternoon shifts to Evora, where you'll check out Praca do Giraldo, the Roman Temple, and the Chapel of Bones inside the Royal St. Francisco Church. That chapel has a particular historical weight to it, built with bones from centuries past. You'll get a mix of industrial heritage, wine country, and ancient history all in one day.

Batalha - Nazare - Obidos
Visit Fatima, one of the world's most important Marian Sanctuaries, then move on to the Monastery of Batalha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 14th century with impressive stonework. From there, head to Nazare to see the famous giant waves that draw surfers and viewers year-round, then climb up to Sitio da Nazare for the clifftop viewpoint and the Chapel of D. Fuas Roupinho. On the return route, you'll stop at Obidos castle and try ginginha liqueur served in a chocolate cup, a local tradition that wraps up the day nicely.
