The scenery was amazing, but what really made our tour so memorable, was our driver, Tiegan Drivers. She kept us entertained with stories and legends of places we visited, or just passed by. When we stopped anywhere, she explained where everything was, especially places that we were staying in overnight. We would thoroughly recommend this tour. - DPDoreen· August 9th, 2024Highland tours organized a great itinerary. Our guide, Steve was excellent. His attention to detail was outstanding. You can tell he truly loves his job and his country. He allowed plenty of time to see the sites at each stop. He never rushed us. Everyone had such a good time we all spent our last night together eating at the Skye Inn. He even organized a trivia game after dinner. This is one tour we were sad when it was over. I have nothing negative to say about Highland Tours. But... the communication between Tourradar and Highland tours was a bit disappointing. We informed Tourradar that we were part of a group of 5 and would like to stay together. They put us at a hotel on the Isle of Harris while the other three along with 5 other people on our bus stayed at a beautiful B&B. That was very disappointing. They also made reservations for the room in Inverness for two people but only reserved breakfast for one. Then to top it off we paid for the steam train on the way back but, there were no seats reserved for us. Steve was able to get everything except the accomodation fixed. On insurance, can we purchase form you after the initial booking? If we check with our home travel agent for insurance and decide to take the Tour Radar insurance? Does the group smaller than 30 people? Do you provide Restaurant information so we may make reservations ahead? I read it is a challenge to get places in Porttree and other towns at high season. What can you help on that?

I understand that it is recommended in Porttree to get restaurant reservations. Do you transport us to our B&B or hotel we choose. It states we may be 20-30 minute walk to restaurants.

We stop off at the main sites in Skye such as Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Sligachan and possibly Lealt falls on the 5 day tour Highlands and Skye and 6 day tour Skye and Hebrides. We may stop at Trotternish peninsula. The driver guide would provide some recommendations for restaurants that you can book when you are there or we can provide a list in advance of you booking a 5 day or 6 day tour. We have set accommodations booked for the 5 day and 6 day tours and we would be able to advise of the names of these on check in or 1 week before your tour. We would drop you off at each accommodations each night.
