Easter Island Moais Archaeological Site

Santiago to San Pedro de Atacama
Private transfer gets you from your hotel to the airport, then you fly to Calama. A car meets you on arrival and drives you to San Pedro de Atacama in the desert. Check in and rest up after all that travel. This small town becomes your base for the next few days of Atacama exploration.

Piedras Rojas, Salar de Atacama & Lakes of the Altiplano
Today's a private tour through some of the Atacama's most striking landscapes. You'll see Piedras Rojas with its red rock formations, the vast Salar of Atacama salt flat stretching endlessly, and the high-altitude lakes up on the altiplano. After a full day of driving and exploring, you return to your hotel.

El Tatio Geysers & Machuca Lagoon
Start early to catch the El Tatio geysers at their best, when steam rises dramatically in the cold dawn air. You'll see geothermal activity up close and get a sense of the earth's raw power here. Later, visit Machuca Lagoon with its unique wildlife and scenery. Back to San Pedro by evening.

Uyuni Salt Flat Express (Day 1)
Your three-day Uyuni Salt Flat tour kicks off at 7:00 AM with pickup from your San Pedro hotel. You head into Bolivia to explore the Salar de Uyuni, one of the world's largest salt flats. The first night is spent at Hotel Tayka Desierto where you'll catch your breath after the long drive.

Bolivian Altiplano Lagoons
Day two starts before sunrise as you traverse mountain roads through the Bolivian altiplano. The high-altitude lagoons pass by as you drive, surrounded by Andean peaks and strange otherworldly landscapes. You spend the night at Hotel Luna Salada, which is literally built from salt blocks, a surreal experience in itself.

Salar de Uyuni
Very early on day three, you leave the Salar de Uyuni in private transportation. The hotel for this night is Hotel Jardines de Uyuni Casa de Sal, another accommodation made from salt. You're getting close to wrapping up this leg of the journey before heading to La Paz.

Uyuni to La Paz
You board a bus in Uyuni heading to La Paz, a long but straightforward journey between two major Bolivian destinations. The drive takes several hours but it's the practical way to move between these cities. Once you arrive, transfer takes you to the Ritz Apart Hotel for the night.

La Paz to Arequipa
You fly from La Paz to Lima, then connect onward to Arequipa. It's a bit of a travel day with multiple flights, but you're heading to Peru now. Check into your Arequipa accommodation and settle in for the evening as you prepare for exploring the Colca Canyon area tomorrow.

Arequipa to Chivay
Very early pickup from your hotel starts your trip toward Chivay in the Colca Canyon region. It's a long drive north from Arequipa, but the scenery changes as you go higher into the mountains. Later you return and check into an overnight accommodation, likely in Chivay itself or nearby.

Colca Canyon Tour

Lima to Nazca
Departing at 5:00 AM from your hotel, you drive south to Nazca. It's a long drive through the desert to reach this town, and you check in and rest before tomorrow's flight over the famous Nazca Lines. Keep your energy up since tomorrow involves flying over ancient mysteries.

Nazca Lines Flight
Early in the day you take a small aircraft flight over the Nazca Lines, those mysterious geoglyphs etched into the desert thousands of years ago. From the air you see the scale and design of these ancient artworks. After landing, you drive back to Lima, arriving by evening.

Lima to Quito
